   I wanted to write this review because the service we received was genuinely top class. My partner and I were having a proper nightmare trying to pick out rings, we have completely different styles and had already argued about it in other shops. We were honestly ready to just give up. Rabia was the one who turned it all around. She was just brilliant, she didn't give us the usual scripted sales pitch or try to push us. She actually took the time to listen to both of us and managed to find a solution that worked perfectly for the both of us, something we hadn't even considered. She turned a really stressful situation into a relaxed, easy experience just by being patient and knowing her stuff. You don't get that kind of attention to detail often these days. If you want proper help from someone who genuinely cares about the customer, I can't recommend her enough.

   Their additional services such as ring resizing isn't up to par to what one would expect for such a big chain. Ring resizing costs quite a bit (which I was expecting), however a 2 week wait was much too long. When I came back to retrieve my ring I noticed that it felt much too tight than the test ring I tried on 2 weeks before. (The shape of my ring was a bit of wider band than the test one) When I complained about the discomfort and struggle to get it off my reddening finger. I was told that if I wanted it re-resized it would cost the same £52 and an additional 2 weeks. There was no offer for ring stretching, just a look that said 'you said the size, it's your fault'. The in-store 'experts' should really have had the foresight and understanding of the situation. Instead, I went to the main high street to the other jewler in town and explained them my situation. They were able to stretch my ring to the perfect fit in 15 minutes in store! This review isn't a dig at H. Samuel. I'm sure the quality of their products are amazing and their range is extensive. But aside from giving them your money, they don't like to provide much else in terms of service.

   This H. Samuel store is so well located and easy to spot for a walk-in or just passing by. The employees of this shop are just exceptional, always so helpful and welcoming. Especially the store manager (Becky) and one special employee (Simon) who is so patient and gives good advice. I had the chance to have a repair transaction with Simon and his kindness and customer service were so to the top. Thank you for making this store so likeable. I wish we could have more items on the jewelry display, but I guess it is ok since we can order online and have it delivered in store. Keep up the friendly customer service. Thanks again.

   On a Saturday, there were two staff on duty in conversation with each other. No other customers were there. I stood near them and only when they had finished talking, they then turned to me. The lady was unhelpful and cold. So glad I went elsewhere for my query after that.
