Very competitive price for a decent size Sausage and chips with a can. Only £6.60. Can't argue with that. The food was nice and the service quick.
Fantastic food with a massive selection and so cheap compared to other businesses of the same type. Lovely friendly staff too. Wish I lived closer so I could frequent it more often. Massive portions of food too. Highly recommend.
Have been using Kingfisher for years. Always enjoyed their food. But today my husband and I had the driest rock hard pea fritters that must have been sitting there all day. They went straight in the bin. Very disappointed.
Just excellent food at reasonable prices. People from T'North will understand this, crispy batter, NO SKIN!!! See it can be done...... Oh and real chips made from REAL potatoes, not reconstituted mash with a crispy coating which are now being used in so many takeaways and restaurants. ACTUAL CHIPS,
A couple of negatives, They got our telephone order wrong and I believe they are over priced a touch but food they produce does taste nice and they are busy often so others must also like the produce they offer.
Our local fish and chips, clean and friendly stuff, food is always made fresh and piping hot and reasonably priced too, we always call in advance and pick up the food and go never had any complaints, and if you order at the counter not usually a long wait either
We got a couple of the lunch time specials to take away. When we got home (2min drive) we found the fish was under cooked and still had all of the scaly skin on! If I had of thrown it back in the sea then the other fish probably wouldnt of even realised it was dead! The fish was disgusting and the chips weren't very warm either. This used to be a fantastic chippy but on this evidence it's gone drastically down hill. Very disappointing and a complete waste of money.
I’ve just come in (1.45) and ordered sausage and chips. You charged me £3.80 but when I got home there was just a handful of chips for my money. I tried phoning but no answer so I drove back and you closed at 2pm then I read on the door that you are advertising two large sausages and chips for £3.50 before 2pm. I am really disappointed as I recommend everyone to your chippy usually. EDIT: thank you for the offer of a free meal next time to compensate me. I am grateful that you have addressed my concerns.
Delicious chicken kebab with all the trimmings served quickly and at a very reasonable price. There is a large menu to choose from but I come back to the chicken kebab each time. Free parking available but a limited number of spaces.
