Sam had been licking his rear paws. With it being the season for Alabama Dog Rot i decided to get him looked at. Jo was excellent. Very thorough and really did give my mate the once over. Home treatments were explained as well as the option of prescribed medication if the irritation continues. Equally important, my mind was put at ease.

I take my two bunnies to the team at Gelnthorne Vets Tutbury & they are absolutely fantastic. You can tell they really care about your pets and we are so grateful for them looking after our babies. Wouldnβt take them anywhere else!

The vets itself is okay they do look after your pet. But never explained the cost of treatments, which is a big shock when you have to go to reception and you have a big bill. The vets themselves should tell you the cost of the treatment before you agree to them they just go ahead and keep giving you stuff. Some people may not be able to afford to pay these costs . People need to be told how much things cost Very disappointing

Iβve used Glenthorpe for years and canβt fault the care my dogs receive. I would recommend them over any large franchise, as itβs a personal service.

Hard to park as no Car Park. Road outside location always full of cars so had to park at top of street and lug the animal carrier all the way downhill and then back up again. Other than that cat op went fine.

Recently visited for an emergency appointment for my cat. When I arrived they are currently undergoing construction work in the reception, the sounds of drills and hammering is perhaps not the most ideal for animals who are already unsettled with a vets visit. I think it would be advisable to perhaps mention this factor to anyone booking an appointment, or point people in the direction of the Uttoxeter clinic whilst building work is underway. In addition, I was super disappointed about the meak look over of my cat to deduce if something was wrong, it was all things I could have seen evidently for myself, are her eyes bright, her coat healthy, eating well etc etc, found it very rudimentary and questions that could have been firstly asked over the phone, rather than being charged Β£80 for this basic assessment. Rather disappointing and wonβt be returning.

This surgery was recommended to us by a neighbor whose dog is registered there. We have been a few times and I have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The vets tell you clearly what the treatment options are and what the likely costs will be, so there are no hidden surprises. Out of hours helpline on Sunday has been helpful, too. There's plenty of free parking in Tutbury, including some spaces on the road outside the surgery, so it's easy for me if I'm taking the dog on my own or picking up some medicine. I would definitely recommend.
