   The Ibis Budget Hotel at Willington is great value and excellently located for visiting Mercia Marina or for a convenient stopover in the Derby area. Although it’s set within a service station complex, the facilities nearby are surprisingly handy—there’s a Waitrose for any essentials or room snacks, a Subway, a bagel café offering breakfast options, and even a well-stocked charity shop if you fancy a browse and want to support a good cause. The rooms are compact but spotlessly clean, with a practical bathroom and a super-powerful shower. The front desk staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming, which makes a real difference. Complimentary hot drinks are available 24/7 at reception, and there’s also a well-stocked bar with a comfortable seating area. We didn’t try the breakfast, but it looked and smelled lovely

   Managed to get a cheap room fairly last minute there, the front desk staff were friendly, the room was clean and it was a good sleep there, room was nice and warm without being too hot. The only annoyance is that there's no kettles in rooms, so to make teas or anything that needs hot water you have to return to the front desk. Otherwise, it's great and I was happy with my stay.

   This was for an overnight stay. The room was very clean, the beds comfortable, extra pillows were given to us on arrival. The only downside was the room temperature 15.5°C when we walked in from a cold wet & windy day. There is a storage heater & aircon/fan in the room which did eventually warm up.

   Highly recommend this place. The room is small and basic, which I was happy with. We took the family room for 2 adults and 1 kid. They have a bunk bed above the double. Not suitable for under 6s, though an adult can sleep up there. Both the room and toilet were very, very clean. They have coffees and teas at the door you can help yourself to. They also have booze, pizzas and a selection of foods at door too. I'd have to say I got a great sleep. The room was quiet and bed & pillows very comfortable.

   We stayed here expecting the minimum to be completely honest, but what we got exceeded expectations by far. Very welcoming from the get go, check in was easy and the lady was super friendly. The room was spacious enough for 2. Very clean, bed very comfy, lighting very good, TV was great and shower pressure was brilliant. Breakfast was pricey but it was all you can eat, to be fair. All in all we had a great experience and will 100% be booking again next year. Thank you team.

   I stayed here last weekend as we book it as a past through. This was fantastic value for money hotel. I think it's much better than some other value hotels. The rooms were great as they looked fresh and very inviting. The lighting was great. The parking here was free for the night we stay which is very helpful They service food and drink (coke, beer, water, etc) on site and with my surrounding eat outs Highly recommend
