   Went for a mates birthday meal. Food was average dispite taking over an hour to be served. Was never told the toppings for the burgers were out of stock until it was served. Unfortunately no one enjoyed their meal. Shocking

   We had the Sunday carvery. Excellent food, excellent staff. Only one small issue was the plates were not heated so the food quickly chilled. Apart from that thoroughly enjoyed our first visit and will definitely be back.

   Stayed here two nights. Really enjoyed our stay. Room large enough and bed comfortable. Good value food. Staff lovely and helpful. Typical old pub experience. Would stay again if we're in the area.

   Visited with friends, food was lovely. The menu is limited and somewhat eclectic with a small selection of tapas dishes and then a few more traditional dishes. Ideally the menu choice would be a little bigger. 3 menu items weren't available which was disappointing. Service was incredibly slow. Had to ask for menus, for more drinks etc. It wasn't busy and there appeared to be plenty staff. However, food was lovely & as were local we probably will visit again.

   An excellent experience at Hilton House Hotel. My sons wedding was held here and we could not have wished for anything better. Attentive staff, exceptional food and great location made a memorable day. The staff did a fantastic job throughout the day, I cannot praise them enough. The chef delivered food that was outstanding. You probably guessed, I cannot fault this venue. Keep up the good work, I look forward to dining there in the future.
