   Was looking for a pub that could take 13 of us for a post Christmas family meet up, that was dog friendly, family friendly, and wheelchair accessible. This was perfect. I phoned up & explained what I was looking for & quickly was offered the function room just to the side of the main pub. It suited us perfectly. Service was incredible, given there was 13 of us, including children and dogs! Food was lovely too, only issue was that the waitress got the Cheesecake of the day wrong, told us it was Belgian Chocolate, but upon ordering it & trying it, it was what appeared to be strawberry & vanilla possibly with glace cherries? It was very nice in any case, just not what was mentioned. We would definitely go back for a good place to meet up with family . We were very well looked after.

   We went for a Sunday roast, and it was really amazing food and service. Proper country style portions and atmosphere. Prices were amazing for what you get. You get your meat of choice with roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings on the plate, and they brought out loads of veg with cauliflower cheese. Would definitely recommend if you like real home cooked, delicious food

   Booked for Sunday lunch with my wife and few weeks ago. We both had the Beef, nicely cooked, well presented with lovely accompanying veg & tasty gravy. The Cauliflower Cheese was notable. Generous portions, we couldn't fit in a pud!. Friendly, attentive service. Godd VFM. We will definitely stop for lunch here again if on our travels.

   This place was lovely. Very friendly service and staff, our room was spacious, cozy, and had everything we needed. The only note on the room was that in our room the WiFi signal strength was not good. The restaurant in the hotel is very good, locally sourced and delicious and fresh. Burger was excellent! Breakfast was also wonderful. Loved this place and will be back!

   A Fantastic Dining Experience at The Queen’s Head We had a wonderful evening at The Queen’s Head. The pork tomahawk and sirloin steak were both cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and packed with flavour. Paired with a lovely bottle of red wine, the meal was truly memorable. The service was friendly and attentive throughout, making us feel very welcome. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality food and a warm atmosphere!

   We had our wedding reception meal here and all I can say is WOW! The meal was absolutely perfect and everyone loved it! From the original email enquiry to leaving after staying overnight, the staff are a credit to this pub! Big thanks to Sam/Nick for all your help in making our dream day the best we could of wished for! We cant wait to come back for a meal ☺️

   A truly lovely experience! The service and food were excellent, and the establishment is comfortable, stylish and welcoming. The seafood platter was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. The beef nachos were delicious. They had Camden’s Hells lager on tap…happy days! The next time we are in the area we’ll definitely be sure to stop in again.

   Had a Christmas lunch as a group. Absolutely first class. Food was hot, quickly served and all excellent quality. Waitress staff very polite and responsive. This is a really good pub with a good landlord that knows his job. Highly recommended.

   First time visit to the Queens Head and found it was well worth it. Menu has good selection of food with a little twist making it very interesting. I had the fish n chips and they were beautiful. Crisp batter, big fish and lovely chips. My wife had the lamb meatballs and they were delicious. The staff did a great job looking after us. A good find, will certainly return.
