   Amazing place, we take our dog every week and he has a fabulous time! The staff give so much love, care and attention to each and every dog in their care and ensure each one receives everything they need. Our dog's confidence and social skills have increased so much over the past year of attending day care st Barker's and we wouldn't take him anywhere else.

   This is the best doggy daycare facility- our dog absolutely loves it, the staff are amazing and so kind and caring to the dogs. I don’t know how they manage to cope with so many pooches all at once!!!! Highly recommend Barkers Retreat.

   Barker’s Retreat Dog Daycare – The Most Wonderful Place for Dogs Barker’s Retreat has been absolutely amazing for both of our dogs. Our one-year-old rescue girl came from a horrible puppy farm — she was terrified of everything, very anxious and had no idea how to be around other dogs. The ladies at Barker’s Retreat have been nothing short of incredible with her. Their kindness, patience, and genuine love have completely transformed her. Every time she goes, her confidence grows a little more. She’s started to play, make friends, and actually enjoy being a dog — something we weren’t sure she’d ever get to experience. She absolutely loves daycare now and can’t wait to go in. And our older, more relaxed dog adores it too — it’s the perfect environment for him, calm and full of care. You can tell how much thought and heart go into everything they do. Barker’s Retreat isn’t just a daycare — it’s a safe, loving space where dogs thrive. I honestly couldn’t recommend it enough.

   My happy, confident, and friendly 2-year-old Shepherd attended Barker's Retreat for 8 months without any issues. However, due to an increase in attendance from smaller breeds and new staff additions, I was asked to pick up my dog as soon as possible because Thistle no longer fit in with the other dogs. I would only recommend Barker's Retreat for small breeds. It seems that losing Thistle from their service benefited them financially, as they can now accommodate multiple small breeds instead of my one large breed. I am disappointed.

   Would recommend Barker’s Retreat without any doubts!! They have always been absolutely fantastic and my Labrador adores going to spend the day with them. She has even had weekend stays when I’ve needed help and she can’t get in the house quick enough. Both Jade and Catherine have fantastic relationships with the dogs and they look after Millie as if she was one of their own. I love how they keep you updated with photos through the day. They are just fab!

   My springer spaniel absolutely loves Barkers Retreat!!!! I feel so confident in leaving her there, she has a great time in the large garden, with the other dogs, they put paddling pools out for her - as she loves water and she adores the people who work there. They also have a fitted out van to take the dogs to a fully enclosed field some days for even more running around and play time. I highly recommend Barkers Retreat, everyone I deal with there is absolutely lovely and genuinely cares about the dogs. It's a really happy, loving place for my dog to go to.

   Absolutely amazing! Bailey bloody loves coming to Barkers retreat where he's treated like royalty :D One day at daycare = 2.5 days of quiet for me. Jade loves all the dogs and cares for them like they are her own (& Kyle too!) Added bonus that Jade's dog Oscar is raw fed just like Bailey too which puts my mind at ease when he's boarding :)

   Highly recommend Barkers Retreat for all you dog caring needs from walks to daycare to overnight stays, Jade is a gem and has a real passion for animals, she’s treats our dog like her own and he’s always excited to go on his group walks with her and she never fails to bring him back exhausted from all the fun he’s had and we get photos and videos during his walks so we can see what he’s been up to. Very satisfied customer of nearly two years.
