I bought an expensive light from this guy that he recommended in consultation with his friend who maintained my tank and he recommended. It didn’t fit and to this day I have heard nothing and he still owes me over £2000. Don’t trust him with your money.
should be 0 stars but will not let me. i have placed 2 orders with this store and they have never turned up. tried calling and was lied too when told i would get callbacks, they never called me back once and if i called, i was fobbed off that the person was not there. so i tried emails in hope of help that way, they have now had 4 emails from me, 1 a week for a month and still not replied, they have my money and i can not even cancel the orders. do not buy from these, they just lie and keep your money.
Just purchased the new ‘next wave tank 60’ - absolutely brilliant as is, but easily pimped if you wish - I have upgraded the filter pump to stabilise the temperature
Visited for the first time today. I am a well seasoned aquarist. It is my fave type of fish shop. Non clinical, meaning you have to really search the tanks to find a hidden gem. All in all I am very impressed and will return BUT many reviewers have commented on the prices.....they are definitely a bit too expensive bordering on ridiculous. Would like to know how they justify this.
Always help and friendly team. Not just to help out, but genuinely interested in helping and giving advice. Are willing to say no when they do not believe the right fish etc is recommended for the tank. Which is refreshing to see in the hobby. Very relax and have good little laugh when visiting. Would to add they are handling the covid-19 case extremely well. Water on tap and very limited on customers. All around top service. Highly recommend anyone wishing to visit.
Very nice shop. Cramped a bit but lots of selection and very knowledgeable staff who are always willing to give advice and help where required. Its out of my way but i don't mind as you get the expertise of the guys there which is better than the other shops who deal with marine fish.
I cant explain how nice it was to walk into a Marine shop and not be made to feel like I knew nothing. The service was very friendly and helpful! The marine aquariums were beautifully looked after and clean. I will be going back to buy more! Just need to save some money up first! :-)
