    Very poor customer service young girl was very rude and unhelpful making issues the pharmacy doesn’t run right having you queue up for over counter that should be maned by boots staff why should I queue for over counter as I don’t need a prescription needs sorting it’s that they don’t wanna pay for a staff member on the counter the pharmacy is busy

    I recently visited this Boots branch intending to buy a COVID test, as I had been unwell and wanted to avoid passing anything on to family I planned to visit. The experience was deeply disappointing. The store was not especially busy, but the atmosphere behind the counter was chaotic. After searching unsuccessfully for COVID tests on the shelves, I joined what appeared to be the queue. Two queuing lines were marked on the floor, left and right, but a row of chairs had been placed directly in the middle, all occupied. Another customer stood behind the chairs, effectively blocking access to the right-hand till. I therefore queued to the left. When my turn came, the server on the left-hand till announced for the next customer and then abruptly told me I was waiting in the wrong place, insisting I join the back of a now much longer queue. Despite my clear position in line, she accused me of queue-jumping and spoke rudely. When I challenged this, she doubled down rather than attempting to clarify or apologise. I left that queue and sought help elsewhere in the store. At the front tills, a younger staff member tried to assist but didn’t know where the COVID tests were kept. When she asked an older colleague, the reply, made loudly within my earshot, was: β€œOh, they’re at the back, I’m too busy to look at that.” That ended any hope of finding the product. More troubling, however, was what I witnessed at the pharmacy counter. An elderly lady, clearly confused, was asked to confirm her address before receiving her prescription. When she struggled to respond, the staff appeared to give up and handed over two bags of medication without properly verifying her details. This lack of diligence was concerning, both from a safeguarding and a clinical safety perspective. In the space of five or six minutes, I witnessed three separate lapses in basic professionalism, rudeness to customers, dismissive behaviour between colleagues, and apparent disregard for patient safety. I left the store without the item I came for and with serious doubts about the culture and management oversight at this branch. If this is how I was treated as a polite, well-dressed man in his forties, I can only imagine how more vulnerable members of the community must feel.

    The last year I have experienced nothing but problems with Boots Pharmacy. Once it was the place to go if you wanted quick and professional service. Now the staff are very overworked, overwhelmed and stressed and the queue often stretches to the front of the shop.

    This is a very busy Boots Pharmacy and I commend their staff for their efficiency and politeness . I had spoken to their Managing Pharmacist Laheeb, who dealt with my enquiry effectively,proactively and signposted me to the appropriate department. Thank you all.

    Excellent eye tester, and the young girl was very helpful, spent Β£1100. More than I wanted too but happy I did as the girls were very professional. Definitely a couple of steps above specsavers. Payed extra for the full eye scan and now know for sure my eyes are healthy. Highly recommended

    The staff are very helpful. The shop was quite crowded but the two till operators were efficient and the queues moved quickly. I hadn't linked my Boots app to my Boots Advtange card and as my wife, not with me, had my card, so I was unable to collect my points. The till operator kindly made sure the till receipt showed the points, which I can have added within thirty days.

    (Photo printing services)- half the machines for printing photos aren't working and the cables are off. bring your own cable for printing. but painfully slow process. also quite costly overall.

    I use it to buy baby food I can't get in the supermarkets as I like to give the little one some variety. I can easily find what I want and I'm in and out really quickly as they are well staffed.
