I went to do the public swim at 2pm as the quiet swim was not on. I enjoyed the swim and after getting changed I went into the cafe for something to eat. It was fairly quiet even though the schools have broken up for Christmas.

We like this place. It was our second visit there when we were on the way to visit our cousin's in Derby. It is worth it to go and have a bit of fun ;-)

Love the studio classes, Martin is a legend! The newish centre is brilliant. Giant pool with all the mod cons and a timetable of events. The aqua classes are fantastic. The system for getting into the sauna/steam room is a little hit and miss, I always had to ask the lifeguard to let me in as my card never worked. The studio classes are good and the one looking out onto the running tracks is amazing! BodyPump is the best class, especially when Martin is teaching.

First time playing at the water park today and I like the Atlantis inflatable, very good and exciting. However, I noticed that some parts of the facilities have sharp edges, which can be quite dangerous for children if they run into them. I got a small bruise on my leg when I went through the starting point and smashed the barrier of the top slide. Also, I see time schedules for public swimming on weekends do not offer that many time-friendly options for working individuals like me; most are family swimming after I asked the reception. Mostly, the waterpark provided a good environment for us to relax.

First time visiting in about 30 years, it's changed a little bit... But not in a bad way. I loved it. Still had the great pool, along with others, and slides, but my favourite part had to be the assault course. Fairly easy for adults but a great challenge for the kids. I think the whole experience was good and we'll definitely be back again.

Good sports centre. The addition of a soft play is a great feature. Only downside is birthday parties happen there with no prior warning, and we had to leave due to lack of staff awareness of their surroundings. There is also no good bike storage, so make sure to bring a strong D Lock.

First time taking my 8 month old to swimming class and was a great experience. Very chilled class, nice to get baby use to the pool. Really clean and spacious in changing rooms. Also not too busy when I went @ around 10am on a Monday. Only reason 4 star because the signage once in changing room was very confusing but will get use to it once going more often. Can't wait to start going every week!
