Went a couple of months ago. Forced to do a 20 minute induction video despite very clearly having been to a gym. Staff very rude. Would not recommend.

This place is awful for your kids swimming lessons. They claim the teaching is superior to nearby centres but basically it’s a random number generator. They dropped my son’s swimming stage, he wasted a year having to go over the same stuff that two other centres were happy with. Then when his teacher changed, they deducted his progress again just because the new teacher was a little unsure. No communication. No proper governance, the changing room usually smells like an open gutter and when you complain, the swim manager doesn’t really care about any of it.

The men's changing rooms are not clean and looked exactly the same the previous day. They are often in this state, panels in the showers not wiped down either. Meanwhile there are members of staff walking around doing nothing.

Excellent leisure centre provide great value for money health and fitness activities. The studio is great quality with a good air conditioning and music system. The gym is not huge, nut has everything needed, including free weights and functional area. The pool it good, however note you do need socks for aqua classes as it floor can be slippy. The staff are what make the place, from the great receptionist like Dawn, and the lifeguards like Joe, all outstanding and happy to help everyone.

I went here for swimming with my 2 year old. we went into the building. it was amazing I love the layout.then we proceeded to walk into the changing room and once in it was smelly and very hot and sweaty I there but I can't complain because people have been swimming and the smell was mostly chlorine which is needed in a pool. so I wasn't too concerned. we then went into a changing room with a baby changing table on there. (which is amazing by the way to have for parents who have children) we obviously got changed and I could smell something in the changing room. ours. I looked for anything that could do with the smell and then I opened the baby changing table and there was a full on open nappy which has been used. i just headed out and me and my son did our swimming and then went back in and got changed very quickly as I didn't want it to ruin our swimming trip. I once informed a member of staff and they helped me with the situation. lovely member of staff. I went back and got my things but checked it again and there was still a smudge of you probably know what. I just left as it isn't my issue. but I did have a lovely time overall except from the changing room part.

We wanted to take our grandsons to the family fun session - found it difficult to navigate the website and tried several times to phone reception to ask but no-one picked up. The Facebook page said the sessions were 2.00-4.00 so we arrived at two, wasted a few minutes with a locker that didn't work and then were told to get out of the pool at 2.45. Kids v disappointed and I was too - someone could have told us that the session was going to finish then before we got in the pool. Staff were helpful and polite but didn't seem to understand the need to communicate.

I've been going to this gym on and off for 5 years and it gradually gets worse and worse. I only go because of location and what I can afford. It's too small for the amount of users during peak times. The changing and toilet facilities aren't clean, and are very worn and in disrepair. When machines break or malfunction it seems like it takes an eternity for any staff member to find out or get it fixed. The staff members appear to be doing very little,, when they could be checking cleanliness / cleaning or inspecting equipment. I had to point out multiple broken machines. How long before they would have checked? Also way more expensive than some larger competitors like pure gym for example. A bit odd when they claim to be a 'charity'. Maybe I'm missing something there. Positives are there are sufficient cardio and weights / machines. Also 1 squat rack.

Had a chance to play badminton, court is much better than a lot of other leisure places. It is soft floor so less chances of slipping. Light is also play friendly. Parking was a bit congested but found which was free of charge without time limit. There are many other attractions onsite like swimming, gym, squash and much more.

They leave the keys with 1 person and if they are late or don’t turn it this happens….. no or bad management. - 5 months in this hasn’t happened again so in fairness this was a one off. Keeping it at 3 star as the gym price for the equipment and room you get is nearly double that of a chain say PureGym with lots more to offer.
