   Very impressed with Mike's work in swapping over a leaking power shower at a very reasonable cost. He did the job there and then after coming round to check out the electrical aspect, saving me the hassle of trying to get other trades people to call me back or provide sensible quotes.    The Home Doctor has just completed a job for me, removing a corner bath and installing an oversized shower for my disabled son.    We had to wait for Mike and were glad that we did. He came to look at the job, advised us and indicated when he’d be able to do it. The old shower tray had cracked because it wasn’t raised properly. Mike built a very solid supporting platform for the new tray, ensuring it was perfectly level before fitting the enclosure. Mike is a very clean and tidy worker, completing everything to plan. We’re delighted by the result.

   We had leak in the bathroom with water dripping through the ceiling downstairs. We looked on the internet for a plumber and made some calls but as it was short notice we were unable to get hold of a plumber. We then found The Home Doctor Handyman, we gave them a call. Mike said he would come out and arrived shortly after. He did a quick assessment and found the leak, he explained exactly what was wrong and the options for repair. It turned out the hot tap on the bath was the leaking and Mike suggested changing the old bath taps to a modern mixer tap with a shower attachment. We agreed as it was a brilliant solution for us. Mike gave us a rough estimate on cost. He sourced a new tap, fitted, tested and cleaned up after, the whole job was done within a couple of hours. We are very happy with the result and would not hesitate to recommend The Home Doctor Handyman to anyone. Mike is very knowledgeable, he explained everything before starting the job. He gave us a rough estimate which turned out to be fairly accurate. Mike is friendly, polite and dog friendly. We highly recommend The Home Doctor and we will be using him again. Thanks Mike for the prompt service and doing a great job
