Such a beautiful place to have a little family walk. This has become one of our favourite spots to visit and it is absolutely stunning in autumn with all the wonderful colours.

Will have to come back here. I heard an owl as well so will need to bring the proper camera next time too. Great paths and well kept woodland area, really enjoyed the walk around

Always different throughout the seasons. Excellent exciting dog walks. Amazing diversity of wildlife and scenery. Faces in the trees, some man made, others natural. In autumn some wonderful fungi. Some areas are difficult access for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility, but overall great for the determined. Adequate parking and a public toilet. Great direction signs, a picnic area, great seating for the weary. Access to the Hamble foreshore and walking in either direction from here enables a trip to the pub or cafe in Warsash or the other way, to a cafe restaurant and a marina. Nearby shops and a diversity of late restaurants/takeaways.

A lovely walk for all the family. Lots of trails to explore or just walk round the lakes. Some accessible routes as well. Beautiful scenery. Lots of benches and picnic benches with bins available. The best part free parking. Would recommend.

A beautiful forest park, perfect for walking and enjoying nature, with breathtaking scenery including a lake and benches for resting and sitting. Along the way, there are signposts to help you find your way, and the park also features interesting historical landmarks. It’s advisable to bring your own water, as there are no shops available.

We love coming here, or young kids do too, even better that there's free parking!!! Lots if different paths you can take to make the walk short or long. It's beautiful in summer and in winter, although you'll need your wellies in winter. There are toilets by the car park and even though there's no hot beverages being served, if you cross the road and head to the swimming pool there is a coffee and tea trailer between the swimming pool and outdoor play area (Brilliant play area too) Only negative thing i can think of, is despite it being a place where dogs are meant to be kept on lead, most people let them off. The signage isn't brilliant though to make people aware of this, as it's not at the entrance but as you walk round and only on tiny signs.

Lovely place for a walk, daughter loves it for all the exploring and dog loves the open space to run. Could be easily out 2 hours plus, more if your legs are up to it!

Wonderful place for family walks. Free car park with plenty of parking (and a second accessible car park). The main paths are large and there are lots of maps and signs so you won’t get lost. Lots of things to see including ducks, wood carvings and the sunken garden.

This is a beautiful place to visit, with gorgeous trees and many pathways to explore. You can walk down to Hamble river, but wellies needed in the winter or wet weather. Great for taking your dog and/or kids. You can spend all day there . No good for wheelchairs or push chairs, very steep in places and 7neven ground. Not enough seats dotted around though for us oldies to rest...

This was a little gem. Lots of different paths to explore. Didn't realised the rocks around the lake were man made until I read the information board. Looking forward to returning in the spring and again in the autumn to enjoy the autumnal colours. Lots of different fungi, some I had not seen before, on tree stumps and fallen trees.
