A great space for events and for the village. It is accessible and some good parking. We managed to walk to the fun day which made it easier and had a good time there with lots of stalls. Plenty of space in the ground and a good kids play park with different activities for different ages.

Such a lovely walk . You have woods , water , green area and a man made natural pond which is coming along nicely .
Nice tennis court, good company and very enjoyable tennis. Court needs to be properly weeded around edges as too many balls are hard to find. But the green grassed area is well maintained by the groundsmen and there are always plenty of people using the facilities, mainly dog walkers or those with paddle boards en route to the river.
It is a big space for playing games. But more importantly it gives access to the river Hamble. People park there, inflate their canoes, paddle boards etc & walk down to the river. It must be said it is not a huge car park & on a Saturday when there is clubs meeting up, often car park is full. But mud week we have never encountered an issue.
Brilliant place for dog walks or just a general walk. If you do the full walk through the woods you come out to a lovely pub. There is a tennis court, cricket pitch and pond with wildlife.
Great for tennis (free) and plenty of open space to walk your dogs. Lovely longer walks down to oy the river with nice pub for a quick refresher before walking back to the car park, where there is adequate parking.
