Taken for Sunday lunch to celebrate my 90th birthday. Very disapointed with food. Started with trout which was served raw so not eaten. Main meal served just warm and meat piled on top of roast poatoes and veg so that they were soggy. Choice of suits very poor, no friut or ice cream dishes. No serviettes or salt and pepper on the table. Did not stop for coffees ! Would not recommend this establishment.

Very enjoyable wine themed evening, with an accompanying 4 course meal. Lovely selection of Rhone wines presented by Alastair Gibson of Heritage Wines. The dinner was great, bar one course, the duck, which had too many sinew strands, making it very chewy - shame. It's a lovely setting in Emsworth. The service is very friendly and welcoming.

Brilliant Food! One of the best meals of my life! We got the scallops from the a la carte menu and combined that with the set menu and were throughly happy with service (Sofia, our server was excellent!) and quality of food as well as the generous serving size. The smoked duck was just delicious! The gazpacho too was a delight- the Skate had been deboned so no messing around with bones! I ordered the Fillet of Hake and was blown away by the sauces. The food ate well separately as well as with different combinations. My brother got the Korean BBQ and the puffed corn on this was a fabulous surprise! The roasted scallops had an amazing peach-chilli zing. And save space for desserts! So delicious and super tasty. The dishes are delightful, imaginative and delicious. Definitely recommend making a booking to eat here.

What a fantastic first visit to this amazing restaurant. A birthday celebration made extra special as we had a window table and a fantastic choice from the Al a carte menu. The staff were so friendly and attentive, and were instantly able to answer any questions about the menu. One of the party had a yeast intolerance and it appeared that the whole menu had been planned so that nothing was off limits, even the bread was sourdough. What a special place, can’t wait to find a reason to go back.

We went for lunch today 28th August 2025. It was a really lovely dining experience, so relaxed, so unrushed, so tasty and extremely well presented. Carolina was the best host, professional in every way. What a joy. Thank you. I scored the rooms but we didn't see them. However, given the wonderful lunch we have had; the whole place is spotless and tastefully decorated, I don't see that they would be much different.

What a place, we went to an event dinner. This included wine and food. Wine had been selected to go with the food so a different wine with each course. Wine experts were on hand to provide information about the wine. This was very interesting. We are familiar with wine from the area (Rhone Valley) but we're introduced to some lovely new wines.

Easily the best restaurant in Hampshire, the menu changes regularly and is always amazing. They use high quality ingredients and are masters of preparation. If you’re looking for a dining experience on the south coast, go to 36 on the Quay. It’s the easiest decision you’d make.

The service was absolutely fantastic. Really on point. We had the taster menu, the first two courses were outstanding, but the rest of the meal lacked depth and missed simple seasoning or food was paired with difficult combos...trying a bit too hard. With a few tweaks, this food could be very good!

My half and I visited to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The restaurant was in a cozy mood. (You can see swans by the window.) The black garlic butter served with bread was so beautiful. My Partridge plate was more than perfect, I could enjoy it even though I wasn't a fan of parsnip. In addition to the taste and flavour, it was impressive that I could enjoy various textures as bubbling burst. The dessert menu was just okay, but the decoration was fantastic. We will definitely re-visit and can confidently recommend this place.
