“Wow!!!! We could easily give more than 5 stars. There was 9 of us but we experienced fantastic service and the most AMAZING food. The portions are really big but so tasty you can't stop eating. The meat was so tender it melted in your mouth. Absolutely outstanding on service and food. Thank you for a brilliant evening.”

“Brilliant Food! One of the best meals of my life! We got the scallops from the a la carte menu and combined that with the set menu and were throughly happy with service (Sofia, our server was excellent!) and quality of food as well as the generous serving size. The smoked duck was just delicious! The gazpacho too was a delight- the Skate had been deboned so no messing around with bones! I ordered the Fillet of Hake and was blown away by the sauces. The food ate well separately as well as with different combinations. My brother got the Korean BBQ and the puffed corn on this was a fabulous surprise! The roasted scallops had an amazing peach-chilli zing. And save space for desserts! So delicious and super tasty. The dishes are delightful, imaginative and delicious. Definitely recommend making a booking to eat here.”

“From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we were made to feel welcome and "at home". All of the staff, from Mel in housekeeping to the Manager, are so friendly and helpful, nothing seemed to be too much trouble, at what must be a very difficult time for them. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. The breakfast and the evening meal was excellent, we really couldn't my fault it, and will definitely stay there when next in the area. Well done and thank you to everyone at the Brookfield for making our first taste of normality extra special”

“Lovely little restaurant. We had the set menu at lunch. Loved each of the three courses. They served a warm small loaf of malted bread with butter and a dish of fat olives at the beginning - nice touch to whet our appetites. We had the charred bream to start, and mains were the pork belly and the ox cheek. Desserts were warm carrot cake with cream cheese sorbet and dark chocolate bavarois with rhubarb. Everything was delicious. We will definitely return.”

“An amazing little cafe, very dog friendly and frequented by many dog walkers. They do the most amazing food and drinks, not exactly cheap but not expensive either. Definitely worth a visit! Highly recommend the milkshakes! Ps. Dogs allowed inside and they give you a small pot of chicken for each dog!”

“First time here and pleasently surprised. Really good food and very filling. We had the chicken sandwiches and the crab quiche. We didn't have to wait at all, and the staff were very polite and attentive. There are three seating areas and two inside and one outside. The one at the far back has a heater and is very nice and warm. The chairs have cushions on them n blankets, so if you're a bit chilling, you can get warm and feel cosy. These are nice touches, and I feel this does make it nicer than other places. They are not only making it look nicer but also thinking about customers who may feel the cold quicker than others like myself. We will definitely be going again.”

“Had lunch on Tuesday. We had the mint lamb shank and steak and ale pie. Both were superb, the steak pie was not only huge but the meat was so tender and very tasty. The young lady who served us was also excellent and very helpful as my wife has a nut allergy. Very good experience all round.”

“Just had the most fabulous festive meal with friends at The Wheelwright’s Arms. We all pre-booked and then tucked in to a delicious 3 course meal. All our allergy requirements were carefully monitored and the staff were polite, attentive and just wonderful from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. “What a “Little Gem” of a place for a Good pub meal. I went here last night for a nice pub meal with my wife and son. We had booked our table earlier on that evening, when we arrived we were greeted by two bar staff with “Big smiles” and shown to our table. The table was clean and tidy and the dining room was about half full. We ordered our food and it came out fleshly cooked a short time later, everything was cooked correctly and tasted lovely. So to sum up the Pub, Lovely helpful staff, Lots of Free parking, Clean tables and cutely, Spotless toilets which are always a really good sign and tasty Pub grub all for a fair price. We will be returning shortly to this little lovely Pub again.”

“Our family has been visiting the Emsworth area from the states annually for 20+ years and Taste of India is always a highlight. Generous portions, incredible service, and top notch flavor. We used to dine in, but now with an elderly father and a young daughter, we opt for take away and it’s just as good. Chicken tikka masala, tandoori chicken, lamb saag, chicken jalfrezi, palaak paneer, garlic cheese naan. Everything was delicious, as always. Thank you for always hitting the spot! We were so busy demolishing the food that I forgot to take pictures.”

Service was ok, but the waitress's seemed a little preoccupied and weren't that friendly, maybe just a little inexperienced. Lovley atmosphere would definitely recommend this eatery.”
