It's been years since I last went to a Beefeater and I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, they still do prawn cocktails and a very passable steak( didn't see black forest gateaux) but there is also more on the menu to tempt and all at a fair price. Will be going again.
Lovely bar which was made amazing by I've been told a guy on the bar called Gary. His cocktails were spot on and even after his shift had ended he was funny, curious and made sure everything was okay. That is customer service and will make me return.
Great dinner out. 4 of us on a work christmas get together and the service was brilliant. Can't fault anything. The manager was lovely and helpful too. I believe our server was called Caroline and she did a great job. Thank you
Poor quality meat, fatty and gristly. Chips tasted like dirty oil. Had a strange interaction at the bar where I wouldn't be served alcohol when I had previously been served? How does that make sense? A couple of the staff members are friendly and helpful. Very disappointing for my girlfriends birthday meal. Definitely will not return.
We went for Christmas day dinner and the restaurant was absolutely full of families. Service was pleasant but slow as they seemed to need more staff and as it was so busy. The food was generous and tasted good but we had to send back two of our main meals as they were cold. This was dealt with no hesitation and anything I asked for such as extra gravy and sauce forms prawn cocktail was no problem. We were all so full we took our desserts home for later.
Great atmosphere all round, good food and the waitets were really friendly and kept checking up on our table. Front of house greeted with a smile and was very accomodating.
Very disappointed. The rocket on starter was tired and wilted. Mains : steak bled all over the plate, Asked for medium not raw . Chips cold . Lasagne contained very little pasta and was stuck to the dish in places .Wrapped up the steak to take home for the dog. The table was not cleared from.previous customers even when our food was served on it
Staff were lovely and welcoming. Service was great. And food was very taste And sides and dessert was so delicious 10/10
