Terrible food experience here unfortunately. Black bits of burnt batter within my fish n chips. Not a oh I'm sorry, but excuses about how it got there by the (chef) owner. Sent back, but no refund offered. Obviously the lady owner wanted us to leave as she started to mop the floor while we were still eating. Sorry but that's really not appropriate. Voting with my feet, wont be back.

Lovely little cafe They have tons of choice, and the food is lovely although a little pricey. Can highly recommend the chilli hotdog They serve all types of coffees and a large choice of alcoholic drinks too Server is very polite and friendly Would recommend as a good alternative to brewers fayre Cafe is spotlessly clean 10/10

Way over priced , I had ham egg and chips, chips were hard, egg still snotty, coffee average but not a flat white more like a small latte. Tables very sticky shelves full of dust and cobwebs. Cheap sauces . Won’t be back. Staff needs to learn to smile and greet people better .

Unwelcoming and expensive. Went to go to brewers Fayre but was closed unexpectedly so decided to go here. Wasn’t open yet so just sat outside on their benches until they did. The staff started bringing out their outside signage around us and didn’t once acknowledge us. They didn’t make it known once they were open so we just went in ourselves. Miserable, blunt staff. Food wasn’t bad but the price vs portion size was. I appreciate they’re near the beach, but £10.50 for a fry up with just 1 of everything is steep. Regular fry up, mini fry up and a kids fry up, black coffee, latte and a fruit shoot came to £35. Cheap tomato sauce sachets unless you want to spend 25p on a Heinz one. Staff then sat on the table behind us even though we were the only ones in there and there was plenty of other tables to sit at, and were just having their own breakfasts and chatting. As we got up to leave we got a ‘thank you’ - and that’s about as warm as the customer service got. Wouldn’t bother, plenty of nicer places in southsea worth the money and friendlier staff

The staff provided pleasant service, however, the cost of the meal did not align with the quality of the ingredients. The beans on toast consisted of a minimal portion of beans, barely covering a single slice of toast. The sausage and onion rolls featured sausages of a notably low quality. The total expenditure, including a bottle of coke and apple juice, amounted to £25. While a higher price point could be justified with superior ingredients, the current quality did not warrant the cost.

Food was burnt, greasy and a little overpriced. Benches outside are seriously uncomfortable and need better shade (umbrellas etc) Not nice at all. Only saving grace was that the staff were very sweet.

Fantastic food, great service, friendly staff. You can tell the food is freshly cooked. The Doorstep Breakfast Sandwich was so good, chicken goujons are stunning.

Lovely breakfast!!! Full fry up x 2, bacon sandwich x 2. Dog welcomed. Drinks in huge mugs. Boys loved the hot chocolate. Took 20 mins to arrive - because it’s all cooked to order. Definitely worth the short wait :))
