Normally get a good meal from here but this time it was horrible the rice was a different colour than usual the duck was fatty the owner gad no customer service skills when I complained
Staff are friendly and polite, a very nice dinning experience overall. Prices are generally cheaper than other competitors locally and portion size is huge for the money. Food were fresh and full of flavours. The Prawn dumplings, stir fry choi sum and sweet and sour spare ribs Cantonese Style were my favourite. Will definitely visit again from Brighton.
We usually order from Wok&Chips cause it's in front of us, however as it is closed on Sunday we have picked Shanghai Bay. We have ordered lemon chicken, crispy chicken, Singapore Chow Mein and crispy pork in sauce. The difference between the 2 is staggering, Shanghai Bay added so much meat into the dishes that honestly we couldn't believe it, and the taste is just great. Sent the sauces separately so the meat would not soak, very thoughtful. I would highly recommend it, for sure our go to from now on. Probably is the best Chinese Takeaway we have tried in Portsmouth.
I've used this take away for many years now and the food has been great. My reason for leaving this review now is today I've had something missing from my order. Not too much of an issue but this is the third time and it's annoying. As I've said, great food but just get tour staff to check the order.
Tried to order a meal which was about £60.00 was told cannot pay by card, anything of £40.00 needs to be paid by cash? even though we have always paid by card in the past with no issues. Will not be using again!!!
This was probably the best takeaway we’ve had in ages. Food turned up 20min after ordering, still hot and staff were amazingly kind to explain the dishes on the phone as we weren’t 100% sure. Portions were big (we ordered 2 mains for 2 people and 1 rice to share and have loads of leftovers), food was tasty and had loads of choice. This was recommended to us by a friend and event though it’s a hole in the wall, it fully deserves recognition. Truly worth 5 stars!

Hot fresh food. Changed order slightly for me. Very accommodating. Great customer service
The food is exellent and the portions are nice and big, especially if you go large which costs £1-50 extra. I love the beef, green peppers and black bean sauce!
