   Was recommended this place as a good place to meet for pre gig drinks and I was disappointed. A great range of craft beers and much more. Very friendly helpful staff, will definitely pop in again when next in the area.

   What a great find, you cannot go wrong doing your research before you go to cities for a visit.. to any restaurants or bars. Exceptional choice of beers if your a Belgium, German lover of fabulous beers great choice of draught,bottles and guest beers, did not expect to be drinking fruh kolsh on draught outside of Cologne, if which we had only just visited for holidays a week ago, what a place, great friendly service definitely recommend visiting here. will definitely be visiting again when in hull.

   Lovely pub with a delightful decor. Absolutely incredible choice of beer and snacks. You can roll a dice and get a surprise choice of drink - I got buckfast - very sweet and quite strong. Loved the little chippies and overall vibe.

   The People's Republic Bar is a modern, stylish bar. There is a good selection of beers, larger and cider, including a wide range of bottled continental beers and lagers. It is a good place just for drinking and trying beers you won't find in most other places. There was live music on when i visited, which really made it a good atmosphere. The staff are friendly and welcoming. It is a nice bar.

   Bob's Big Brain pub quiz is the best around, very generous prizes but it's more about the presentation! Huge choice of beers and spirits which help you appreciate the wallpaper!

   we love it here! we popped on to ask if they are friendly, and yes they are. so we looked at their drinks menu and ordered our drinks. can definately recommend the chocolate gin! (not sure of the real name) lol. we have been in several times now. friendly staff and drinks are value for money too
