   B&Q was good. Found what I wanted but also found the same thing cheaper at tool station, stove paint and stove primer. 50% cheaper actually. But their timber was good with helpful & knowledgeable staff helped get the right screws etc for my pergola building project as well as gravel and edging roll I wanted.

   This place actually has nearly anything you will ever need in DIY if you can find it. A good walk of 60 lanes stacked 20 feet high. Would be 5 but I used to love my local hardware store for convenience and the old left hand threaded or imperial measured threads. Parking is easy. Avoid football days or you risk long queues..

   I have found that B&Q have gone down in my expectation! over the last few months I've been working on a few projects and I have had to wait weeks for materials no one seems to know when they will arrive so it is hard to plan projects.

   Really great staff. Even with a trade discount it's not the cheapest but ample parking, never a shortage of trolleys, and really great staff like Mary get them five stars all day long
