Just down for the weekend to do the Great South Run. Popped in for a drink with the dog in tow and what a warm and friendly welcome. A proper local pub
I come in once a week to enjoy the good company of both staff and customers, l was made to feel most welcome from my first vist . And my grandchildren love the garden when we go in for a pizza as treat

The garden needs a clean. A good sized garden for families, lots of tables, plenty of brollies if wanted, but seriously needs a good clean , the grass is full of cigarette buts which creates a smell. Other to that a lovely local pub.
Rattler and an amazing selection of bottles. Quite a good atmosphere if busy! Very pompey so depends on the occasion, so to speak (from a pompey born and bred)

Lovely family and dog friendly pub with a huge beer garden, wide selection of drinks, darts, pool, table tennis and table football options all available. The new owners, Dan and Jane have done a wonderful job turning this pub into the perfect place to enjoy an evening. With Quiz nights on Mondays, and Music over the weekend, there’s always something on. And even if there isn’t an event, Jane, Dan or the staff will keep you amused. Honestly, everything you could want from a local.
