   The atmosphere is a traditional English pub with good beer. When I visited them I stayed in the hotel upstairs. When we forgot something in a nearby restaurant they were very helpful and supportive. I will definitely visit here when I come to Portsmouth.

   Fresh hot pork scratchings. Beautiful garden with heat lamps. Friendly staff and two fast pool tables with new balls. The pool ques are very light so you might want to bring your own. And I'm pretty sure there was a dart board. Great place to take the family after a football match or have a party. Can comfortably fit 75 people at a guess inside and about 30 in the garden.

   Haven't been to The George and Dragon for a few years, I was well impressed with how clean, tidy and very welcoming staff! The garden was a little gem. Would recommend this friendly and what I call, a real pub.

   Lovely place, staff very welcoming. Pub kept very clean from bar, behind the bar always clean glasses never had any problems with the lager always a good pint. Tables always cleared of empties etc. The garden area beautiful a warm relaxing place looked after very much as an ex bar person i give this pub 10/10

   Garden in the middle of town is always a nice surprise. Only one ale on was the disappointment. Pub with a bit of a reputation that it looks like it's trying to dispel.
