Just arrived back from Sunday lunch with friends. We had a lovely 3 course dinner. The roasts were excellent, as was the rest of the food. The food arrived in a timely manner, served by friendly attentive staff. The atmosphere was happy and relaxed. Will certainly be returning.
Just got back from a lovely sunday lunch... The food was fantastic, the place was busy but very expertly catered for. Staff were attentive and polite. We each had a roast, my friend is a vegetarian and she had the cauliflower tart, and said it was the best veggie roast shes ever had. While the rest of us had meat roasts and again, the best ever... Four completely empty plates. If i was going to add any improvement to it i would have had a little more veg.... Will definitely be back here.... And will certainly tell everyone how much we enjoyed it here...stunning puddings too ...wanted to try at least 3 of them!!
Can’t comment on the food as only popped in for a drink. Lovely place with great views. Staff were welcoming and it is also dog friendly!
Arrived 5pm left 730pm, no lactose free starter other half had chicken goujons, both had a main, I had crumble with very thin vegan custard. Service was awful extremely slow, as it was bank holiday Monday. Food was good, piping hot
Came over from Portsmouth today! What a great find! The staff are first class. Everyone of them. Great space and well up together pub. Loved our afternoon here. Will be back.
Lovely lunch. Good choice The waiting staff were all really nice and friendly. Bread and butter pudding with toffee was to die for. So yummy. Will be going back
Beautiful roast. Meats were perfectly cooked and all the vegetables were as they should be, good service and lovely atmosphere. On top of that, FREE PARKING! Just ask for the voucher when you pay for your meal.
A Dog friendly pub with excellent food. Well worth visiting for a Triple Meat Roast. If you park in the car park, the pub give you a parking voucher for up to 3 hrs stay. Plan your walk and visit to the pub well to get this free parking offer.
Beautifully positioned waterside pub with choice of outside and inside seating and good menu. Visited Mother’s Day and enjoyed tasty Lamb Shank roast overlooking the bay. Extensive parking and dog- friendly, highly recommended.
Excellent venue with very friendly and helpful staff. Arrived a bit late, group of 9 people, told kitchen closes in 30mins. But staff went over their duty to help especially when we had 4 fussy kids as well. Good food and atmosphere.
