“The manager Josh was very friendly. So welcoming, we almost felt part of the family. Altho it was mid week, I was still amazed at how fast the food came out. It was obviously made with fresh ingredients, and was one of the best curries I'd tasted. If I was here for a week on Hayling Island, I would be perfectly happy coming here every evening, just to chat to Josh, and to work my way thru their menu! The restaurant was immaculately clean and airy, and had a wonderful professional atmosphere. If I ever come back to Hayling Island, Gandhi Tandoori would be the first place I'd eat.”

“Great little pub, a lovely atmosphere, and welcoming welcoming. Nice selection of gins,whisky ales beer and cider.. Lovely garden little sun trap with comfortable furniture. We go every time we visit Hayling and look forward to our next trip.”

“I really dont know why there is so many negative reviews but as a local resident who often can't be bothered to cook just for himself after a long day at work I have had a huge number of take-aways from here over the years and they have always been tasty and hot especially when collected . The portion size is really good and often is enough for lunch at work the following day too. Their delivery service is usually pretty good but too often can be a much longer time than that quoted at ordering time especially on busy evenings like Fridays and Saturdays and from personal experience it will be far quicker and be hotter if you collect yourself. The one thing I do love about this place is that they are happy to alter or adapt menu dishes to fit around a customers personal likes and tastes.”

“Not had a delivery for nearly a year as lock down has prevented us from visiting with our caravan! It was exactly the same as we remember. Absolutely perfect! Delivery in 20 mins and is the best we have ever had! Never have a pizza at home as it doesnt come close x”

“Came here for a birthday meal and only booked the day before for lunch. They were great in being able to accommodate such a large group, around 14 of us. The lady that greeted/served us was very polite, and made us feel at ease and not like we've put pressure on them. Service was very good overall and food was brought out quickly, and within the groups we were paying, as we informed them we were splitting the bill before hand. I had the pork belly for starter, and the jerk burger as a main. I cannot recommend the belly enough, perfectly executed with a lovely sauce, and sour cream which go well together with the pork. The jerk burger was nice, with lots of bell pepper and mixed salad in the bun, the chicken could have been more jerky for me but I like my heat and spice. Parking is nearby so you won't have to walk far, and you'll have great views over the bay/sea.”

“This restaurant is no less than amazing. The food is excellent and the host was excellent at making the right recommendations for our spicy needs. Two lamb rogan Josh’s one very mild and one very spicy both thoroughly enjoyed. The lamb was very tender and cooked perfectly. The staff working in the restaurant were very customer experience oriented and if we lived on Hayling Island, we would dine in here every week. I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant. The food is truly wonderful.”

“Just collected a meal for 4 from here. There was a very welcome 10% discount for collection and a warm welcome in the shop. I was also informed that there were some extra bits in the bag. The food was so good and everything was present including the extra bits that were mentioned. (Extra popodums, onion salad, normal salad, mint sauces and onion bahji. After living in South London for 15 years and trying some of the best up there, the food here was an equal mate. Definitely one to try. It did not disappoint”
