“The cheeseboard not only looked stunning but, had everything you could want on it and more! The cocktails were delicious, you’ve got to try the raspberry ripple, it’s punchy!! Great atmosphere, friendly staff this is the place to visit on the island for a great night out, highly recommend”

“Came here for a birthday meal and only booked the day before for lunch. They were great in being able to accommodate such a large group, around 14 of us. The lady that greeted/served us was very polite, and made us feel at ease and not like we've put pressure on them. Service was very good overall and food was brought out quickly, and within the groups we were paying, as we informed them we were splitting the bill before hand. I had the pork belly for starter, and the jerk burger as a main. I cannot recommend the belly enough, perfectly executed with a lovely sauce, and sour cream which go well together with the pork. The jerk burger was nice, with lots of bell pepper and mixed salad in the bun, the chicken could have been more jerky for me but I like my heat and spice. Parking is nearby so you won't have to walk far, and you'll have great views over the bay/sea.”

“Really good food and at great prices. Staff were really friendly. Only downside was some menu items were missing from the allergy folder. But staff were so kind and looked up items and it meant that so much more of the menu was accessible to the allergies present. We had 2 really great meals here over 2 days and were a medium size party. Every meal was delicious and good value.”

“Just collected a meal for 4 from here. There was a very welcome 10% discount for collection and a warm welcome in the shop. I was also informed that there were some extra bits in the bag. The food was so good and everything was present including the extra bits that were mentioned. (Extra popodums, onion salad, normal salad, mint sauces and onion bahji. After living in South London for 15 years and trying some of the best up there, the food here was an equal mate. Definitely one to try. It did not disappoint”

“So good we ate here twice in the same day! We always come here whenever we come to Hayling for an impromptu day out. We arrived just after opening on Sunday, and was in and out nice and quickly. Chips were beautiful, battered sausages lovely and crunchy and a great amount of salt and vinegar! A rarity for a chippy! We were very happy eating it while watching the sea. After our day exploring the beaches we decided to get the same meal again to complete the day. Again brilliantly cooked and no complaints from our picky kids. Thank you very much :)”

“Did not eat here but what a fabulous view of the Isle of Wight and the coast Excellent atmosphere and very hot when we visited If you are there for 4 o’clock, they have a motorbike meeting every Thursday in the summer and there were hundreds of bikers there. Not once did anybody rev their engines or go over the speed limit and it was all very good manner If I’m ever nearby on a Thursday, I will definitely go there again”

“The spa in the hotel was incredible and was great for a reset. The hotel staff were lovely and the food was amazing. 10/10 would go back again. Just wish there was more to do in the area but the hotel cant help that...”
