Fab lunchtime visit. Had a cider with their super tasty sweet & sour chicken inc rice & peas. Came to about £15 in total. Food was delicious. Really nice people in there too - got chatting away with the 3 ladies who were working, the lad in kitchen seemed nice too, as were the local fellas who came in. Definitely a pub I'd visit regularly if I lived in Pompey. I come to area quite regularly so will definitely be back. Many thanks & keep up the good work.

Great local Pub. Opposite Portsmouth The Hard. Great food. Great prices. Traditional roasts served everyday. Small and Friendly. Comfortable.

We stayed at the Lady Hamilton for one night while visiting Portsmouth. The location is great and the room, though very small with only a double bed, was spotlessly clean and well provided with tea, coffee and toiletries. As it was immediately behind the busy bar, it was also surprisingly quiet. On the downside the TV didn't work and the pillows were like bags of cement. That said, it's good value for visiting Gunwharf and the historic dockyard.

Very nice old pub in old Portsmouth harbour area. Right near the 'Hard' which is a bus terminal, so very convenient for public transport too. Good pricing, and a nice selection of beers on tap. There is a good restaurant here too. Great atmosphere, and a few booths as well as standard tables for seating. It can become crowded as it's popular and quite small.

Clean, modern room and bathroom, very conveniently situated for dockyard, Spinnaker Tower , harbour station and Gunwharf Quay shopping.

The room was really clean & comfortable with a really nice double bed . There was my own shower in the room,TV in the room, coffee and tea making facilities. The breakfast buffet in the sister hotel ,The Keppels Head was excellent & the staff were very nice & friendly . I've stayed at The Lady Hamilton about 4 times now & would fully recommend it.

Stay for days in a triple room. Quite disappointed ! Hotel very well located. The breakfast is ok. But the cleanliness is to be reviewed ! Floor and bathroom were constantly selling. There is a pub that closes at 11pm below so it was very noisy !

Got there at 10.30 and had to mess about going to another hotel to check in. For the key to not let us in the hotel. Had to go back to the other hotel where the receptionist went and key didn't work turns out we was round the back basically in the cellar of the property. Not very well organised at all or institutions on where rooms were.. Room was clean. Bed was shocking. Double mattress on a 3/4 bed. Not comfy at all so didn't sleep will. Then rudely woken up by an alarm at 6.30 am..... nobody to be found to sort it out. No apologies when we went back to the other hotel to check out.... also on you information it states carpark charge is £3 when infact it was over 12 pounds. Wish I'd never stayed. Won't be returning
