   Booked our Christmas party here and had a fantastic time all the staff that served us were brilliant nothing was to much trouble the food was amazing and the atmosphere was lovely we all had a blast it was the best place to go for the start of the Christmas festivities, if u need a venue for your works Christmas party then embers and ice is the place i would definitely recommend

   Awful food. Meal sent back as cold, comes back out - obviously been nuked in a microwave so now unable to pick up as so hot. Sent back for replacement. 20 mins later comes back out, chips not cooked, burger falling apart and not nice to eat. Worst meal I’ve had in a long time. Not enough staff around upstairs.

   ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Service from Rhea and Beth! Had an absolutely brilliant experience at Slug and Lettuce thanks to the amazing service from Rhea and Beth. From the moment we arrived, they were warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. Our food was brought out promptly — no waiting around or chasing anyone up — and everything was fresh, hot, and exactly as ordered. The 2-for-1 cocktails were an absolute highlight, and Rhea and Beth made sure they were served quickly and perfectly mixed every time. They checked in regularly without being overbearing and made us feel genuinely looked after throughout our visit. Their professionalism, efficiency, and friendly vibe made the whole experience feel extra special. Big thanks to both — we’ll definitely be back soon because of them!

   Had two visits in two days. Ordered via phone app. Food arrived as described and we were happy. Nice and quiet during the early afternoon. On the second day all was good except the time waiting for food and drinks to arrive. Will certainly return and stay longer when time allows.

   Three of us enjoyed a lovely lunch here on Tuesday. We all ordered scampi and chips which came quickly, was piping hot, chunky chips were especially delicious. Staff were very attentive. Ladies toilets upstairs were beautiful … so much so I took a photo!! Very clean and well stocked with soap etc. One of us needed to use the disabled toilet which was needing more soap but the staff saw to that immediately. Excellent value for our meal from the £7 lunch menu. Thank you Jay Caitlin and Jack

   Slug and Lettuce Fareham Portsmouth: All dressed up and everywhere to go was the theme of this outlet. The bar was fitted out for Halloween if you like that sort of commercialism. The atmosphere was lively and well frequented with customers. Very upmarket furnishings. Well staffed in and friendly. Open late at weekends when the place is heaving. Obviously the place to be seen at. Food reasonably priced and adequate. A place l would recommend and visit again
