   Great customer service from the team at Newage especially Colin. Bought a difficult to find TV. They checked stock on the phone. Ordered and delivered within a day. Top service from the team and price was better than companies in England. Will keep an eye on other products they have when needed in the future.

   I very rarely submit reviews but feel people should be warned and made aware of issues. Like others I like to support the independent retailer but will likely look for another one next time! Customer service we received was terrible regarding delivery of washing machine bought this week. Delivery failure on Tuesday after waiting in all day for promised delivery. Also payment taken for slightly more than stated price and cash refund then given when queried - nobody asked for cash back!! After 3 calls on delivery day then told at 4.45pm delivery drivers had finished and delivery would be next day. No phone calls returned even though this was promised by the store! We live 6 miles from the shop so not far and the offer to deliver Tuesday was made by the store. Calling in to shop at 5.15 on Tuesday on way home from work and asked what happened - store would look into it but the driver had finished and he wasn’t answering his phone!! I asked - surely the machine is still in the van? Why would they finish at 4.30 without completing all deliveries? Question ignored! Also advised that staff there could deliver now but have other plans - so effectively chose not to! Apologised to us for this and then indicated my employer like them at times would have customer service issues?? Wholly and totally irrelevant to this failure to deliver 6 miles away on the day offered to deliver!! Receipt for our purchase made out to our address had someone elses name and someone else’s phone number noted on the receipt so obvious violation of their GDPR security commitment as per their website. Delivery was made the following day (Wednesday) but experience has made me very wary of going back here. Driver indicated when delivering they had no knowledge that the delivery was due to us on Tuesday!

   I wouldn't Shop near these again as if you are looking to get a product from them they won't replace it if it's faulty as was the case with me after spending over £3.000 I bought a TV for £750 which was not working I went in to have it fixed after being offered a replacement if my TV was faulty so went in they didn't want to know terribly rude and basically told me I wasn't getting a replacement standard practice in a proper store like Curry's etc. I tell ya if ya want electronic goods steer clear as you'll regret dealing with them if your product ends up being faulty as mine was. BE WARNED NO REFUNDS AT ALL

   Had an issue with a new TV and was sorted out immediately. Staff and owners are a pleasure to deal with in this locally owned shop. Great selection of products for sale and at a great price. Would much rather give my money to a local business than chain stores. Can’t recommend this shop enough.
