Great Vets. Together with lovely receptionists they make our dog very welcome and treat him as a special patient.
Lakeview Thrapston took our dog in after his emergency vet appointment. They performed X-rays and eventually had to operate. He came back the same day and is recovering now. The main reason for the perfect review was how human they were. They knew we might have struggled to get the thousands together to pay for our boys surgery but instead of focusing on ensuring they got paid, they made our boys health the priority. If they didn’t have that compassion we would have had to say goodbye to our baby. We had enough to pay with them getting our insurance company to pay directly in any case they were willing to make a plan with me to settle the bill. When I picked him up I was told to pay whatever I could but we had enough in any case. Thank you so much team, you saved our boy and we will forever appreciate everything you did. I was preparing myself to have to say goodbye but you saved him.
We have literally spent thousands of pounds in the last 12 months, whilst the vets are caring the overall experience today when calling was horrendous. My wife called the vets to see if we can get the pet rat looked @ as she had to pick up the children she asked her friend to take the pet down and she would pay over the phone. Rather than listening she was confronted by the person she was talking to and treated poorly. Hopefully the owner will have some decency to call and apologise!
Excellent vet. The staff always friendly and knowledgeable. Like the online booking option. They treated my boy Caspian well and made him feel comfortable.
Always made very welcome by happy knowledgeable staff, the waiting area clean tidy and made useful by all the pet toys ,leads collars etc.to keep your pets happy. No problems there but the carpark and outside area could be made a little safer and colourful plus possibly a couple of seats for those with unhappy dogs.. Excellent staff with a massive knowledge and reasonable costs and charges more than makes up for it though...Just an observation not a criticism happy days.
Well what can I say? Lakeview vets are absolutely fantastic. I brought my cat in at extremely short notice due to a nasty injury she had sustained that day. They were so understanding of the situation, saw her quickly and advised on the plan of action. They listened to me, were so gentle and caring of my pet and did surgery the same day. I cannot praise the staff enough. Unfortunately I do not know their names, but the lovely lady at the front desk was absolutely fantastic and chatted to me about it all. The lovely vet was a superstar. She explained her thoughts and why she would operate the same day. I was kept informed at all times and reunited with my cat that evening. There are not enough words of praise I can heap on the vet practice or it's staff. They are absolutely wonderful and I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you for helping my pet xxx
Last week our golden retriever suddenly came over very ill. She was shaking uncontrollably and crying. We had no idea what was wrong with her. We called Lake View at 5:40pm thinking they wouldn't be open but trying anyway. Not only were they open but as soon as we arrived at the vets our dog was seen straightaway, within minutes of walking in the door she was being checked over. When we were panicking the vets were incredibly calm, kind and caring. They ran blood work and we had the results within 15 minutes. She was treated and taken home that evening. She is completely fine now and completely recovered. I can not thank Lake View enough for their service, in a time of need they were amazing and I would recommend them to anyone. In the moment when we were most worried they were amazing. Thank you to all of the staff and vets.
Called emergency line when my dog was having a seizure for the first time, most unhelpful emergency vets I've ever called, kept getting passed back and forth between this one and another only to have received zero help or advise. Do not recommend.
Could not recommend this place more. Such kind,caring and loving people. So accommodating as our dog isn't great with other dogs they were so helpful. Becky was amazing and so caring, she explained all options and gave her honest recommendations, and we will be eternally grateful. This is the best vets we have ever been to.
