    This store has consistently, as shown in lots of reviews, seen lots of empty shelves, why? Replies to these reviews say we take these reports seriously and will rectify, why has this not happened? Store is constantly full of empty crates left in the aisles, presumably by overworked staff. The one good report I can make about this store is the staff, always seem very helpful and friendly.

    My card had been cancelled for some reason, and Colleen helped me set up a google payment on my phone, and helped me navigate the HSBC app to try to figure out what was happenning & properly freeze my card. She was very helpful, calm and nice, despite my being very flustered, and being very clearly extremely short staffed. Thanks Colleen for making a day of things going wrong just a little less stressful.

    20 mins on a Saturday morning 8.00 waiting for a click and collect in the end had to go and try and find someone in the back of the warehouse. Tbh it’s getting worse. Not enough staff. Can’t fault the staff when they do show up as always polite and cheerful but definitely run off their feet

    My Name is AnMarie Channer. I had accidentally placed my handbag including phone, into one of the large recycling containers in the car park in Asda, this was on Saturday of Easter Bank Holiday. I was completely stressed. I went into the shop. I was directed to Rachel who was on the Easter stall. She immdeiately took control, she was sympathetic, and practical. Rachel went above and beyond. It was not a contaciner that belonged to Asda, it was not their responsibility in manys, however, because i was a customer, Rachel led the situation. Rachel took my number explained she was around for the next week and would communicate with me. I did not expect to hear anymore if i am honest. On Tuesday Rachel called me. She had communicated with the driver and arranged for her to go, in person, on her day off!!! to search the container at the depot.....she had had contact with the guy at the depot to find my bag, and he agreed to return it to Rachel in Gosport. I believe it was Rachel's actions, behaviour and customer service approach that resulted in the return of my phone, purse and bag. I would love it if she were to receive well deserved recognition. I dont do facebook but if i can promote Asda and Rachel as an exemplary employee i will. I will be highly recommending using Asda and will donate to Asda charity because of Rachels high quality customer care.

    Thank you to the lovely staff in Gosport Asda on Saturday 29th March. The lady on the till and the gentleman and lady on the customer service desk. You couldn’t have been more helpful. I dropped my empty shopping bag while shopping somewhere in the store a small cotton bag worthless to anyone else but priceless to me as my Granddaughter had decorated it in school several years ago and given it to me as a present. I was very upset so they looked for it and found it for me I had already searched the aisles myself. Also to the person who handed it in to the lady on the till. Thank you all again.

    I asked a staff to help me use the voucher, she by accident deleted me vouchers ! And she told go home and take back the items to the shelf! I asked for the manager to come and help she said the same thing! My god how rude and unprofessional they were , to whom i should complain , literally the worse asda ever , this issue would never happen in TESCO!!!! This ancient happend in the 24th of December, the christmas eve, at the closing time exactly.

    The new Management need sacking or at best retraining, it’s gone downhill so much in the last 2 months ! Most products have been moved to the four corners of the store, nothing is where it should be, and halve the shelves are empty ? What is going on ? Either sort it out, or step down and let a logical person take charge !!!!

    This has too have the worst collection Point over you wait 30 mins for someone too make announcement from customer services that there is customers waiting to then wait 15 mins more just for someone too come to then wait another 20 mins for your parcel shocking needs closing down or making the collection point at customer services

    Smaller Asda store with plenty of parking. Disabled parking bays available. Cash points are located outside the building. The outside of the supermarket looks tired and dull,and could do with a make over. Not too bad inside. Good range of products both food and non food. Handy using this supermarket, as you don't have to experience the stop start traffic to get to Asda in Fareham that seems to take for ever to get there from Gosport.
