We did our shopping in asda fareham this morning, and had the most rudest women on the till that served us. We had bottles and we always lay bottles down, cause tge conveyor belt can be bumpy and they fall over. She was told us to stand them up, I said to her no it's fine I'll lay them down. She then literally got in my face, her voice was VERY loud ,telling me to stand them up,so I again motioned with my hands don't worry, there fine laying down, by now she was getting louder,I was embarrassed. Man infringements of me said to her 'why are you being rude to the lady? If she wants to lay bottles down that's fine I also lay them down.,then she accused him of being rude to her.we both complained to two supervisors b4 we left the store. She should not be a cashier. I am Disgusted and very angry at being treated like this by an asda member of staff. It was 10.20 am today fareham asda

I have been a ASDA Fareham customer since 1993 but this store is a pale shadow of its former self. Car park is the worst I have ever been to, food often rotten and lots of empty shelves, even the most basic of items, checkouts mostly self service with massive lines. Very often I get flagged for a " quality " check, why check me so often? If you think I am not scanning items properly then put real people of the tills and they can do it! Prices are now so high you can easily save 30% by shopping next door in Lidl where the prices are must better, produce is much fresher and staff seem more motivated to serve the customer. Every time I go to ASDA Fareham now I leave feeling angry and frustrated and quite frankly ripped off! I know nothing will change by me wasting my time writing this review, but if anyone does see this then please be aware, I will shop elsewhere from now on, that is about £100-£150 a week, £7000 a year that will go elsewhere, not a huge amount that you will worry about, but if enough people change to a different supermarket then this store will be in trouble, and it will be all of your own doing! You cannot simply keep taking people's money without doing your part. I would urge anyone to shop elsewhere, give this store a miss and maybe, just maybe Asda Fareham will try to improve.

DO NOT GO TO THE CAFE Absolutely horrible Café staff treating mothers with newborns and toddlers awfully, someone squared up to one of the mums, has been reported higher. If you want a nice experience, or to be spoken to with some respect, literally go anywhere else.

Popped up to the cafe for a cuppa with my old mum after doing the shopping. Pleasantly surprised to see Christmas dinner on the menu. What a dinner it was! Perfectly cooked, pipping hot, and as tasty as hell! I will return, thank you lovely ladies! Xx

Today was the first time I experienced racism at Asda and I was really disappointed. A few friends and I went to buy Red Bull and some of them wanted to drink it, not all of us. The woman looked at us and said they couldn't sell it to us as they obviously knew we weren't British. First they asked for ID and asked us all to show it. I explained that I didn't drink it, but I had to show it again. We were insulted because my friend forgot his ID in the car. It was really sad. Also, after we got back to the car, my friend went to buy it again and they told him they wouldn't sell it to you. It was a complete disappointment. 10 /11 /25 about 19.15 she was middle-aged

I took my Blind friend Shopping today. He said he would like to buy White Sour Dough Bread x 3. Unfortunately their were none on shelves so assumed no stock. A staff member I believe her name was Eileen had a Trolley load of bread and I asked if there was White sourdough bread. Unfortunately not but she said please wait and I will check storage. She very kindly found the bread. So grateful and excellent service. Regards Alan Lewis

Fobbed off yet again when I ordered designer glasses and the correct cases with brand name hard case not sent and horrible recycled green felt cases offered gave a nike case. I was told by trainee I'd only paid 80.00 so what should I expect. Glasses had fault on them aswell. I've had this 3 times now where I've had to push for correct cases. Great to save the planet and money but your soft cases are not going to save my glasses. Who's pocketing the designer glasses cases? Was told they have no control over what the glasses are sent in from the manufacturer. Absolute tosh service.

Useless home delivery service. Ordered an item which was unavailable but know for certain that a suitable substitute could have been provided, called the store and woman was really unhelpful and not even willing to do anything. Said system will not allow her to pick something else. What makes it worse, is this is not even my local store who are usually really great.

No checkouts open past 8pm, self checkout queues were just ridiculous, not impressed!! UPDATE: I only had a basket, not a trolley!! No staff around to ask apart from the very hassled lady trying to deal with everyone at self checkout. The queue for the trolley section was just as bad.

Update 28/10/2022. Sadly, Asda have jumped onto the same bandwagon as most supermarkets and have increased their prices in most cases from 20p to £1.50 per item in just over 2 weeks. I know things are difficult, but I believe these massive increases cannot be justified. As a result, having done a price check comparison we are now only buying 20% off our weekly shop from Asda compared to 90% last week. I can buy cheaper products at the same quality from Lidl. Sorry Asda but you here's one regular shopper that will buy elsewhere, as I'm now saving £40 weekly! I get my petrol from their onsite station because it is always the cheapest in a five mile radius of my home. We had for the past 11 years used Asda for at least 90% of our weekly shop. The store has a large range of goods for the home, clothing, music and DVDs, household appliances, magazines and newspapers, greetings cards and of course food. The staff are friendly and very helpfull. Some annoyances I have are that very often stock levels are either very low or out of stock completely. Sometimes, aisles are obstructed by groups of staff members moving stock to the front of the shelves which not only makes it difficult getting down the aisle but also to goods. They would achieve more if there was one staff member in each aisle facing up!
