   We had a private Christmas party here on Saturday afternoon, the lounge being closed off for us. The atmosphere was lovely and the buffet put on was delicious. A choice of meats with all the trimmings and plenty of gravy! Some cold offers too which was all lovely. Despite the bar staff being young, they were all brilliant. Attentive, friendly and not stood looking at their phones. DJ played lots of good music and kept everyone on their feet. Shame it's not on our doorstep. Our 'local' could learn a thing or two from them! Thanks for a great afternoon!

   Good local boozer, plenty of staff who are always welcoming. Sadly, the toilets are a mess. We were sat near the entrance and could smell urine. My partner said the men's facilities are a disgrace. No reflection on the staff, just past their sell buy date. Refurb needed!

   I recently visited The Royal Charter and was blown away by the fantastic experience! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the drinks were nice and cold. But the real star of the show was the food – absolutely delicious! I have to give a special shout-out to the new young cook, Crystal. Her dishes were flavourful and beautifully presented. It's clear she has a real passion for cooking, and it shines through in every bite. I'm already planning my next visit. If you're looking for a great pub with amazing food in Hull, look no further than The Royal Charter. You won't be disappointed!

   Went for food here today.. what an amazing food order we received. The food wonderfully presented. Meat cooked to perfection. Not one single bad word. Kelly your a great cook. You out did yourself even more so. Kids ate all their meal too thankyou.. as always will be back again

   Not a bad pub. Great if you have kids as they have an outdoor play area. Not great for sport as they have a few TVs all located in terrible spots in the pub
