   Horrendous. Came for Xmas dinner with my family and elderly father in law. Was a complete and utter shambles. Informed the staff that we were with a vulnerable family member before arriving, made zero difference to the outrageously poor service and quality. Waited 30 minutes for our drinks. A further 20 for our starter which we had pre ordered. They had a ticket system for the carvery, we had to queue from the front door for 30 minutes. This is not to mention the disgusting attitude from two members of staff, unfortunately not made up by the young female staff members who were putting a brave face on and still smiling. The manager was hiding in the kitchen, they couldn’t even face so many disgruntled customers. They served our pudding to our table whilst we were waiting for our carvery, which wasn’t true to what was on the menu. Total utter disgrace. 1 star is too generous, don’t go here.

We are regular visitors and always enjoy the food and today was no exception. Thank you for giving up your time to serve us on Christmas Day, we appreciate you!    we came because whenever we drive past we always think it looks welcoming and we can say we weren't disappointed. the service from entering the building was top notch. Jen was great took our order and told us about the midweek carvery. the food was lovely fresh and hot we will definitely make this a regular place to eat

   We were greeted by very friendly bar staff, the whole pub was spotlessly clean. The menu had a wide, and varied choice of foods to choose from. Big shout out for all the veggie options as well. Was so impressed by them. We all ordered our food, and sat and enjoyed our drinks whilst we waited for our food to arrive. When it did, it was all delicious. All 4 of us really enjoyed our meals, and were stuffed. So did not partake in a pudding. Maybe next time we might. Every staff member we spoke too was friendly welcoming, and gave fabulous customer service. Our visit too this pub, was a lovely one. We certainly will be returning to try some more of the menu.

   They had originally mislaid our reservation but without fuss they found us a table, thank you. The food was well cooked although the beef was a little tough my friends said that both Turkey and Gammon were perfect as were the vegetables. All in all a nice visit and we will certainly return again in the future.

   Had another lovely meal tonight, the food arrived hot and in good time as always. Our waiter Martin was fab and provided great service with a genuine smile. The barman Graeme was also lovely and friendly and made jokes with my daughter. The kids enjoyed going to the outside play area while they waited for their meal and said everything was amazing. We will definitely come back again.
