Went there to watch a local band Barefaced, brilliant atmosphere.
Cracking village pub, enjoyed spending the whole day at their summer music event. Great choice of drinks and a friendly welcome.
One of two pubs on the main street, the black horse, is a friendly traditional pub. There is a good choice of beers larger and cider, including two hand pulled cask conditioned real ales, which were in excellent condition when i visited. It has a nice cosy L shaped room with a pool table at one end. There is an outside seating area behind the pub next to the car park.
By village pub I mean village. Excellent

Good food without a doubt made welcome we had grand children with us and no problem beer was good car park to rear john Smith's my favoured beer and was good to the last staff all welcoming and friendly doesn't luck much from the outside but an ok pub inside it is only a small village but can't knock it food reasonably priced too
