   We called in this afternoon after having dad out for the day before we took him back to the care home. The two ladies were very friendly, we will definately be visiting again as we enjoyed our time there before our journey back home, well worth a visit.

   The Royal Oak is a nice traditional community pub. There is a good choice of beers, lager and cider. It's a cosy pub with a sheltered beer garden that has great views over the River Humber. Friendly staff, worth calling in for a drink after a long walk along the river. Check the opening times.

   I wondered where we could go for a stroll, and a drink on a Bank Holiday Monday, that wasn't too far from home. Good prices, and nice views across the Humber. Friendly staff. Recommended.

   I ordered food via food hub, and there was an error on food hub to which i gave a 1 star thinking it was to do with The Royal Oak. Paul phoned and could not apologize enough, so i tried on food hub to remove my star rating and it could not be done, so i have come here to say. I would recommend The Royal Oak, and to thank Paul for being so nice to say sorry he didn't need to, very professional and i will deffo be going to eat here in the summer. Thank you Paul

   Friendly folk, great atmosphere, have a large seating/ smoking area at the back which looks out onto the Humber, delicious food, just need a few more seats in the back room and a few stools in the pool room. Have all sorts going on including live bands.
