Fantastic tour and brilliant guide. Also we very much appreciated the manager Claire rescheduling our booking due to a family bereavement. My only small negative is the rooms we sat in during the tour were freezing! Not enough of an issue to drop a star though - thank you!
Went as part of a work event to the distillery tour and gin making class. I can honestly say I really enjoyed it. Claire made it alot of fun with her history of gin, various jokes and interesting facts. Great experience! I can definitely see myself drinking Hinch's Ninth Wave Gin regularly in the future. The distillery and the excellent restaurant next door is definitely worth a trip! Highly recommend!
Fantastic experience on the premium whiskey tasting tour. So informative and Claire was a great guide. So welcoming and great craic. Went in not the biggest lover whiskey and came out with a bottle to enjoy! 10/10 will be back for the warehouse tour and gin experience!
Great experience at the Hinch Distillery, learning how to make our very own gin! Becky our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of gin, and at helping us understand what types of infused flavours go well together. Super fun afternoon and our own gin to take home afterwards!
The distillery exudes character, and boasts a range of wonderful whiskey and a globally recognised and awarded gin. The whiskey tour given by Becky was extensive, very informative and extremely enjoyable. I think I have found one of my new favourites
Such a neat place. Learned SO much about whiskey and how the owner likes to give back. Spoiler alert! You will learn how to properly drink whiskey. I’ve never liked whiskey, but I’ve been doing it all wrong until now. Thanks for the tour Becky, and tell your helped I couldn’t remember his name.
Wonderful tour with Claire in this beautiful, new distillery! Come here for an intimate, informative and entertaining tour, and have a wee go at a whiskey tasting! We've been to a few distillery tours in the past but still managed to learn a lot of new information on this tour.
Loved the tour of the distillery with Terry who shared a really informative history of whiskey in Ireland. Really worthwhile to do and great we got to sample the different whiskeys. Left the gift shop with a nice bottle of peated whiskey. It would have been rude not to!
I thought I’d seen it all distillery tour wise until I took a trip up to Hinch Distillery. A visitor centre with millions of euro invested in it welcomes you on arrival. An intimate, section by section tour of the building brings you from the stills, to the packaging line, back to the lovely bistro, where the food matches the quality of the whiskey. Was lucky enough to meet Terry, the owner on the day. Fantastic distillery, fantastic staff, even better whiskey. Can’t recommend this place enough. An essential stop for any whiskey drinker or lover.
