All the staff are very friendly, and always provide the best possible care. Only negative is that vets are expensive.

A complete joke! Receptionist made a big deal about 4pm being the latest a nurse will work for our pet to have after surgery care laser therapy, so we moved what we could around to do those times, unfortunately i was too unwell to attend but an hour and 30 minutes later, my wife is still waiting with our pet to be seen! When my wife approached reception at the hour late mark, about whats the hold up and how much longer she may have to wait, she is simply told the nurse has gotten a little held up and will try to get to her when she can. Not good enough to me, no care or concern for how long my wife's been waiting, after such a fuss that 4pm was the absolute latest we could get this appointment and we certainly would not be able to have rocked up an hour and half late without consequences!

Just noticed that I left my review for these folks on the Pets@Home link. The whole store is well managed with lovely staff, but I just want to put my specific Vets for Pets review here. Hope that's allowed. ("Cleo" is a feral stray that I adopted when she was pregnant...) Once again, I'd like to compliment everyone's treatment at the Milton Keynes "Vets for Pets". We had a nurse (Emma) for our appointment - which saves a bloody fortune - and she was extremely thorough. She was slightly concerned about Cleo's gums, so took her out back for the vet to inspect. It turns out that the vet in question (Yasmin, I think?) was the same one who did Cleo's neutering and she said that her teeth are perfect and her gums are actually improving. Amazing, given her hard start in life. Cleo, not the vet LOL. We also had the opportunity to thank her (via Emma) for her incredibly tidy (neutering) surgery work. What looked like an ugly scar turned out to be a scab that fell off a couple of days ago. I know people who've had keyhole appendectomies that aren't that tidy. Incredible. Lastly, Emma wasn't faking her love for Cleo and the kittens. She idly stroked all of them with genuine affection while assessing them, and even after she was done with each of them. I'm afraid she might've spoiled Ruby! Thank you all, especially Vicky, Emma, Yasmin and of course Lynda, who did so much for us when Frankie passed away. Your love and compassion is well above and beyond, and I know all six of our kitties appreciate it! HIGHLY recommended. Kitten tax...

Can’t thank all the staff enough for their support and love they had shown when my little boy fell asleep. When I went to pick him he was in a beautiful box with card and paw print that was requested. They listened and cared when I was upset. Every time I spoke with them they helped and sent me well wishes. Would definitely recommend.

My cat had to be put to sleep due to recent diagnosis and suffering from Cardimyopathy. The vet who carried out the procedure was kind and sympathetic and gave me the time and opportunity to cuddle my cat prior snd during the procedure. This made the experience less stressful for my scruffy boy and really helped me emotionally. Thank you so much for all your help with Scruffy's treatment, Tanya Brewster.

Lovely bunch - locates on Pets at Home. Vats4pets are great with my dog who has Cushings and can be quite nervous when having to stay in for day treatment. :) she always greats them with a wagging tail so that’s a good measure first hand from the patient. :)

Be careful!! They start off amazing, you pay in full every time then all of a sudden they start sending you bills for visits you’ve paid for but they claim you paid less and you owe them money. Me and my pets deserve better than this ‘service’. You’ve been warned!

I have just been speaking with Sam McDonald on reception today regarding an admin error that had been made registering our kittens micro chip, she was very argumentative and just keen to appoint blame where completely unnecessary. I was worried also that she advised the micro chip company Petlog are "useless, we deal with them all day everyday" so my question here why on earth as a vets are you recommending them! Sam did manage to rectify the issue but would of been much nicer experience if there wasn't the bad attitude on the telephone! The vets here we have seen in general have been very good, however rude reception staff really make dealing with the surgery quite unpleasant. This is the third bad experience with the reception staff in the past few months I would highly recommend people use the Bletchley Vets4Pets instead as isn't too far away.

Wach out your wallet! I've been on this pratice for several years 2000-2006 aprox, there are several areas where this Vet practice lack. - It will take several appointments to diagnose the problem, unless is something obious, which will not only affect your bank account but also your time, there are ussualy 15 to 30 minutes late. - Consults are scheduled for 15 min, which most of the times the vet have barely enough time to check or discuss symtops or concerns. - When problem is identified, they will advise surgery or strong and expensive drugs. Considering that those two solutions should only the last resource and not every one can afford, it should be suggested that there are more affordable homeopatic/natural options to try before using the big guns. Of course surgery and drugs are more profitable for the pratice. - Price for test can be twice as expensive than other practices on the area. XRay in this practice over £300 other in the area £165. On one ocassion I was advised to put my Yorkie down due to liver shunt after and many appointments, espending thousans of pounds, due to the condition of my dog, or try a surgery which was another £4000 and only had a 50/50 chance to survive. I then went away and looked for further advise online, on which I saw that home made diet with the right ingredients and manage to get my dog back to live without Vets support. On another ocasion, another dog of mine was diagnosed with Hip Dysplapsia, again after several appoinments and test, so the Vet advised surgery. As the surgery was agresive, I went online and found that most of the times, this condition can be managed with Glucosamine and weight management. So I decided to try before going to the surgery option. Both dogs are now doing well without surgeries and drugs. I fear the day any of my dogs get ill, as with this practice I now the are ready to take all my money and let my pet die if I run out of funds. Im now on the process of changing Vets and after this experience Im finding dificult to find one I can trust. They are ok for standard things tho.
