The room is fine, a decent size and the bed and chair is comfortable BUT the walls are paper thin. I could hear the woman in the room next to me on the phone to some bloke and I could hear his replies. The doors bang rather than close gently and you can hear the light switches and loo flushes in adjoining rooms. Guests were noisy returning all hours to their rooms so I slept a maximum of 2 hours. The bathroom floor had storage grey gritty dust on it and the bathroom sink was dirty and/or stained. Would I stay here again? Absolutely not

Very poor customer service. Alerted staff of people Next door smoking which is not legal in hotels in the Uk. All our holiday clothes now stink of smoke my 2 young children’s included all Staff did was spray some spray not speek to the people dogs barking all night next to no sleep. Spoke with manger in the morning very obnoxious.

Quiet room, good bed, good shower, quick check in, all you need really. Food/ drinks round the corner and no nonsense about parking ( free, no booking in). Cannot complain at all for the price paid.

Magnificent! A great location right next door to a Toby Carvery. Free parking so no worries. Very quiet room and clean. Also a great price. I would recommend this for short stay.

Sue the hotel receptionist told me to get back to my room #, prison I'm sorry I'm in this position, was never supposed to happen. Unbelievable even the guests checking in commented on her behaviour. Love it otherwise

Room reasonable size. Shame the bathroom floor is like a swimming pool changing rooms floor 20 years ago. Walls are very thin and didn't appreciate hearing everything coming from next door. Car park big enough with a Toby carvery next door.

Very convenient but a little tired. The bathroom would not have passed the hotel inspector test. But my dog and I enjoyed our stay!!

Rooms are good though can be a little chilly on waking up in the morning. Unfortunately it is on the road leading from the Hilsea ambulance station so any blue light jobs in the town centre or there abouts means you will be woke up anytime after 5-6 in the morning as the ambulance negotiations through the sets of traffic lights in front of the hotel.

One night stay and the only fault was the weak output from the shower which could do with updating . Given a ground floor room as we had our dog with us. The lady on reception was very helpful and provided a fan in the room which was a blessing. Adjacent to a Toby Carvery which we used and the food was excellent.
