Spent 3 nights at Premier Inn with my wife as a short break. The building has a tired exterior but rooms were clean and tidy, simply furnished and were serviced daily if you asked at reception. Otherwise they would be left. Apart from the tired exterior a shopping trolley was dumped in the hotel's shrubbery appearing to be a permanent feature, adding to the run down look.

We have stayed at this Premier Inn many times over the years and have always been impressed by the helpfulness of the staff and the standard of service. We enjoy the breakfasts: the chef is good and brightens the day, whatever the weather! The staff in the restaurant are welcoming and attentive, and especially Sophie on our most recent stay.

The hotel was clean and well-maintained, with friendly and welcoming staff. Breakfast is offered in a small dining area by reception ours was cooked by Immy and we were looked after by Charlene! Who were both equally fabulous. There’s free parking right beside the hotel, and a pub next door serving good-quality meals at fair prices. Just a short walk away are several shops. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay with excellent service at both check-in and breakfast.

Friendly staff & clean hotel. Breakfast is served in a small restaurant by reception. Good choice of hot & cold breakfast items. Free parking next to the hotel & pub next door serving good food at reasonable prices. There are a few shops a 5 minute walk away, M&S food Hall, Jollies pet store, B&M & a McDonald's. Also an ice rink & leisure centre next to the hotel. A pleasant stay & lovely welcome from the reception & on arrival at breakfast.

A handy location and plenty of free parking. The staff were also very helpful and considerate. The quality of the hotel, however, is poor. We had to change rooms because a power socket was hanging off the wall. The area for breakfast is wholly inadequate for the size of the hotel.

This hotel is handy for where we need to be - it's the only reason we stay. It's somewhere to put your head down. You don't get the quiet night sleep you normally do with Premier Inn, though, especially at a weekend. It's right next door to the ice rink, pub & on a main busy road! Lots of reving engines all night! Breakfast is OK, it fills a hole. If the place is busy, you'll not get a full plate though. And the coffee is YUK!!

Waited in line to check in longer than needed. I didn't get any apologies, and i didn't appreciate the non chalance about my wait. My room was nice, and I'm fast becoming a Premier Inn fan. For breakfast , unfortunately, I didn't book breakfast and just went down to get breakfast in the morning. I didn't appreciate being hounded to pay while trying to serve myself and dropping off my used plates. Ps- I paid for breakfast, and the food was lovely.

Nice, clean modern hotel for a reasonable price. A great choice if you are visiting the area, or even Portsmouth, since the City is a short drive/bus and ferry ride away.

The hotel design looks new and fresh and internally everything is laid out as what you expect from a premier inn. The staff were friendly and nothing to complain about there. The only reason as to why I couldn't provide 5 stars is the fact that the bed was not anywhere need as comfortable as expected. Given that it is a place you sleep this is rather subpar and needs improving.
