I’ve stayed with Travelodge here in Ryde on numerous occasions and always been greeted pleasantly by staff at the front. Charlie particularly stood out since she’s gone the extra mile every time I’ve stayed here. She’s always ready to help with room allocations. This particular occasion, she was ready to go home at the end of her shift but stayed an extra few minutes to make sure that I was housed where I wanted to be. She has never disappointed me. GIVE HER A PAY RISE. SHE DESERVES IT!

The room was quiet, clean and cosy. People any the reception were welcoming and polite. Located next to a bus stop that leads to Newport and East Cowes. Seafront at 3 min by foot. I did not try the breakfast

Budget hotel , perfect central location. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Spoons just around corner. Buses are great for getting around the island , get the southern vectis app bus app. There's long stay parking at St Thomas Street. Would recommend this hotel.

Very clean, staff very knowledgeable about the local area and events. Friendly without over doing it. Location was quiet yet central. Would recommend and intended staying there again soon.

Lovely views, found a great Italian for dinner but the noise was too much. When the pubs kicked out. That went on for a while and was a Thursday night, the weekend must be awful. Bins being emptied etc. I wouldn't stay again. Staff helpful and home OK. You can't park where they direct you too and so is more than it says! Not much but on the one way system the silly driving around was just not necessary.

Hotel staff were lovely, room just good, they let us check in early and it was all clean. Only think that let it down for us was the view of the bike rack outside.

greeted by staff very warmly but unfortunately had crying children in the office which made the check-in rather disappointing, the rooms are very basic and I found my room very small, unable to open window to let fresh air in as all bolted down, very standard room but was disappointed with the water pressure on the second floor as the shower is just medium and it’s the only way to wash. not bad room was very tidy when I arrived, you have to ask them to tidy the room by leaving a tag outside on door, but all they do is literally change over the cups and towels, the towels are left on the chair not in the bathroom and the sugar was not topped up as requested but left empty, bedroom not tided or swept or anything just literally walked in and picked up rubbish and walked out again, so disappointed in that, also noted a elastic band on the floor on the second floor that has been there all week so obviously the cleaning is not very good even though I did see Robo cleans on every floor but maybe they don’t understand what an elastic band is and can’t pick it up, the staff were friendly I can’t fault them on that, was just disappointment in the cleanliness of the place soon as the staff were upstairs all the time checking out rooms but can’t be arsed to pick up a simple elastic band on the floor. The location is good but on a very steep hill so very difficult for anyone with a disability to get up and down, also had out of order stickers on the lift even though it’s still in good working order making it very difficult for those with disabilities again to move up and down on stairs if not necessary obviously forgotten to take the stickers off, this is obviously a converted building as it only has about 30 rooms, luckily I did not pay for this as it is a work thing but when I stay here again if I choose, not really sure, maybe just to see if they’ve improved their cleanliness picked up debris on the floor when they walked past it instead of ignoring it

Great location in Ryde town. Thoroughly clean throughout the hotel and our room. Team attentive to guest needs. Bright, friendly and welcoming. Great team. Very engaging and you can tell this is a well managed hotel with it’s guests at the heart of what the team and manager do. Big, big shout out to Paul who was amazing throughout. Couldn’t do enough for us. 5 out of 5 experience and will definitely be revisiting this hotel next time we visit the island.
