   We headed over to this lovely country pub with The Smart Scooter Club. The ride out to the countryside was really nice. On arrival there was plenty of space to park our beloved scooters. The landlord and landlady, along with bar staff, local chap and his Jack Russell could not have more welcoming!! We were pleasantly surprised to be served with two delicious pizzas and cauliflower dip on the bar. We all said we’d bring our other half’s here for diner soon and plan a return trip in n the spring!

   A very warm welcome when we visited this historic pub. It has been refurbished and restyled to a very high standard, in keeping with the age of the property. The food was excellent, freshly cooked and served straight from the kitchen. Visitors and locals plus friendly dogs at ease near the log fires, no rush to leave and a totally relaxed ambience. Just the sort of pub we like added to which the owner and waitress spent time explaining their hopes for a gentlemen’s and ladies’ club to attract more clientele which they certainly deserve. We wish them well and will be back!

   I tried to had a pint but the owner came to ask me questions and felt like a interrogatory not a friendly chat. Didn't felt like answering questions to her. Place is a nice luxury pub. Food was actually good. But owners are very unwelcoming.

   We only popped in here for a drink after a beautiful walk but what a lovely pub. I'm pretty sure we've been here before and it wasn't nearly so good. I definite improvement and well worth another visit

   The Coach and Horses is under new management. We really enjoyed the food under the old managers so were keen to see what changes had been made and if the food was still good. The pub now seems cozier than before with 2 fires going, one on either side of the restaurant. We both ordered starters and mains with my wife ordering the soup of the day, being the carrot soup, and I ordered the tempura prawns, followed by the blackened cod and steak for myself as mains. I thought I ordered the better starter because carrot soup at the best of times sounds pretty boring, my prawns were great but the real surprise was the soup, it had so much flavour. The mains came a short while after the starters and were even better. The steak was perfectly cooked and my wife could not stop talking about how good the cod was. We will certainly be back.

   Yesterday we booked in for tea at the coach and horses, unaware it was a special menu. Well what a wonderful valentines meal we had for 3 with our 8 yr old daughter. She was made to feel so special and the chef cooked her a special dish. The adult food was sublime. a very happy mistake booking. Thank you

   Absolutely gorgeous pub so well refurbished and cosy, The food was sooo good wish I had room for more service really great couldn't do enough to make u feel comfortable and welcome will definitely be going back with the family can't wait to try more on the menu as well couldn't recommend it more so lovely x

   We loved our stay at The Coach and Horses. Paul and Dave are fantastic hosts, and nothing is too much trouble. The room was clean and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The bed was very comfy and the homemade treats were much appreciated. Our dinner was excellent! It came out hot and the portions were a good size. The homemade pie was full of flavours and there was plenty of rum in the rum and raisin parfait- compliments to the chef! Thanks for a great stay.
