Very friendly Marshall and pro shop staff. The pace of play wasn't really enforced which led us to have an extremely long round. That being said the views were amazing and the course was kept in good condition
This course was amazing. Started day with light rain, then fog, ended with hot sun! Great links experience. We golfed 1 day and will make it a planned stop next trip to Ireland. Rented clubs and they were beautiful. Brand new!
Despite playing an abysmal round of golf, the course is fantastic, the views are spectacular and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back to Ardglass!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Unforgettable – and not just because of the golf. Ardglass was one of the highlights of our Northern Ireland trip. The course is carved right into the coastline – dramatic views, wild elevation changes, blind shots, and a few holes you’ll be thinking about long after you’ve flown home. It looks wide, but don’t be fooled: if you miss in the wrong spot, your ball is gone. Not rough – gone. Still, it’s fair. And the layout? Absolutely memorable. Add to that: a tiny pro shop with surprisingly great merch, a starter who feels like an old sea captain (in the best way), and a clubhouse that’s half coastguard station, half local pub. Bonus points for Guinness 0.0 at halfway. And yes – the five-hour round was worth every minute. Would come back in a heartbeat.
Lovely views around this course clubhouse is "unique" mind your head. Course is interesting keeps your attention. Peter Stewart club President made us feel espically welcome

Fantastic views, challenging holes (very tough turn around 12-14) but a beautifully maintained course. I'm lucky enough to get an invite here 3-4 times a year and it's always a highlight. If I could play it more often I absolutely would.
Went here for lunch. Simple food but so deliciously made, great value too! They usually only serve members but if they are not busy at the time you might get a chance (just like we did)!
The course was in pretty bad condition. I've played it many times, so I know it's not usually like this, but it was still disappointing. The food was good though and the service was excellent.
