   Disgraceful that this pharmacy has a sign on the counter asking customers to allow 7 to 10 working days for a prescription to be processed. When you are sick ??!! Patients need their medications now, not in 10 days time. Same day dispensing should be what they aim for. I have overheard staff saying that they are working through prescriptions received five days before! They need to clear any backlogs asap. Clearly, the recent change of ownership led to no improvements.

   Turned up at 12.55 on a Saturday to find staff at the door and all lights and would not re-open even clarify if they had what I wanted. Don't expect any sympathy if you do what i did, avoid if you are close to arriving at there close time

   Absolute shambles, they have a common list of excuses why a prescription is not ready. If you are lucky, your prescription may be ready but it has to be checked. Then you get the most common excuse "the pharmacist is at lunch" 3:45 pm ??

   Awful everytime I go in. We were told our prescription is ready to collect after we phoned ahead. After a few hours when we drive to collect, the staff say that the drug can’t be ordered in the pharmacy. Once we explain we have already phoned ahead and it was confirmed it’s in, we were told it hasn’t been made up yet and the pharmacist is on their lunch break. Complete waste of time and people who have long term illnesses are struggling enough. Everytime I go in this pharmacy there is something wrong.

   While my prescriptions eventually arrive, the service appears to be inefficient and slow. Whilst I understand that prescriptions need to be checked, I feel this could be done when they are dispensed rather than collected. The service could be considerably more professional and discreet, without details being loudly shouted from the counter. For the number of staff that are always on duty, perhaps being better organised might result in a much better service?

   Just moved from another pharmacy in Chichester to Stephen’s and they’ve been brilliant so far. Staff patient and knowledgable. Had two prescriptions in (one sent in a week ago and one only a few days ago). Went to collect first and because they had the second one on the system kindly put both together whilst I waited so I didn’t need to go back.

   I have used this pharmacy every 4 weeks for about 19 years and they have seldom let me down. However, since about July 2022 something has gone wrong here with queuing and repeat prescriptions not being ready, hence I have dropped rating to 3*. Pleasant people, Covid secure and easy parking.

   Previously, used to be excellent; possibly the best in Chichester. The staff are knowledgeable and nice enough but the wait times are just becoming out of control and ridiculous no matter when we go in the prescriptions are never ready and this year especially it has been a big issue. I've given almost two weeks before trying to collect before just to see if that would help and still none of it was made up. Not sure why the standard just seems to be really slipping and it's super inconvenient if you're on medication which is essential in not missing a dose. There's also very long wait times if you wait in chemist for them to make it up, even if it's only one or two items. Really is a shame as it used to be a fantastic pharmacy. Hopefully they can get it sorted soon.
