   I’ve used this pharmacy for a number of years and received great service. I’m not sure what’s happened but I need to regularly collect my daughter’s seizure meds and nearly every time I’m told it hasn’t come in. I would say this has now happened about 10 out of the last 12 visits. I’m then told we’ll order it again. When I return it hasn’t turned up. Purbrook pharmacy, what on earth is going on. Service is now a 1 out of 5. Very very poor experience. I feel sorry for older patients that can only get to this pharmacy as they must continually go without their medication. In addition, every time visit the queue is practically out of the door which adds to the frustration. Please sort this out!

   Until a few months ago Purbrook Pharmacy was a lovely pharmacy, with pleasant smiling staff, and rarely a long wait. But the two smiling assistants seem to have gone, and now the staff are all busily occupied in the raised the pharmacy section, keeping their heads down and avoiding eye contact with the ever growing queue. May I suggest making eye contact and saying something like "sorry to keep you, someone will be with you shortly" would greatly help to lessen the mutterings of discontent in the queue. (And a smile would make us feel as if we are valued for buying cards, shampoo, soap, plasters, cough sweets etc etc, and less like nuisances.)

   It's a bit unfair to give Purbrook Pharmacy a less than top rating. In the past they were great my prescriptions and the wife's were always ready. But it appears now after the adoption of some new Prescription Service this has all ended. A Prescription I requested 11 days ago was not ready. So they fulfilled it on the spot which I had to wait for after already waiting for 15mins in the queue. ANd you no longer get a text to tell if your prescription is ready ! I think this must be the NHS and another IT meltdown !

   Since introducing a’new’computer system counter waiting can be anything up to an hour , repeat prescriptions are no longer accepted (have to go to GP ) no longer texting to say prescription available . Have changed a perfectly function system into a nightmare . Massive retro step , now have no idea when prescription is available will have to guess a day I suppose , phoning would be a option but they rarely answer . So what’s the NEW system done for their clients ?.

   Wonderful people and always timely + keeping me up to date. I have a few obnoxious prescriptions that either come down alot or need to be picked up weekly, and they've always been amazing about it. Helps me feel like I'm not being as annoying as I feel! Comprehensive stock out front means they often have everything I'd need in a pinch. Been with them for several years now.

   Such a lovely little pharmacy, was my first time going into there today and they all gave me the best customer service, Kerry especially really helped me out with my medication and was just super helpful. I will deffo be using purbrook pharmacy as often as I need now!

   I've been using this pharmacy for a few years now and the staff are always really friendly and helpful. Whenever I've ordered meds they've always been on time and if ever I've needed to buy anything they've always got it in stock and always ready to advise if needed. Reasonably priced too.

   Friendly staff. Great advice. Very community minded. Flu jabs and covid jabs went perfectly. Efficient service for prescriptions. Even at short notice. Girls (and boys)are always welcoming and happy to help.
