Dreadful experience today … went in to buy some calpol for my grandson who is not well and was told they couldn’t sell it to me as no pharmacist in shop…. So I went to one stop and bought it off the shelf…. Just can’t see the reasoning in not selling it to me… won’t be going back
Booked an online appointment for a flu jab…..as I was told I had to pre-book, online…..and when I arrived for said appointment, I was told they had no vaccines left. “But, I booked…” I said. “Well” came a lame answer, “It’s a walk-in service, so you can come back tomorrow when we should have some.” I don’t think so.
DO NOT PREPAY for ANYTHING. we used the patient access online booking and paid for a travel vaccination. We were contacted shortly after to postpone the vaccination and we were told we would be contacted with a view of having the vaccination on Aug 27th. We tried to repeatedly make contact on 26th Aug for confirmation as they failed to honour their promise to contact us. We heard nothing. On 27th today we have tried multiple times once again to contact them on their advertised number and their mobile they used to postpone, but no answer. Now we will need to order a credit card chargeback, report the matter to the NHS and the police for theft of our money. Not a service you expect from a pharmacy. Totally disgusting and disruptive to our plans. We are not from their area but we will make a special visit soon. They are not going to get away with ripping us off! Criminal service.
They take ages to get a prescription ready. Often the pharmacist is not there so they can't deliver anything without his signature. Today I was told it would take 30 minutes to get my repeat prescription ready despite the fact that they’d been sitting on the repeat script for over a week. Then they told me they’d have to order the medication as they didn’t have it in but they didn’t know how long it would take to come in. Also, new staff at the till is rude. Avoid if you can.
Terrible. You wait ages to get served (often there's a queue of frustrated locals) and then the excuses come: no pharmacist, no pills, come back tomorrow, etc. Staff try hard but it's an impossible task. Much easier to use one of the on-line pharmacies. Local shops are vital - but not when they're run this badly.
My first visit having recently moved to Wickham. Couldn't have been nicer, absolutely first class customer service. I even got given a dounut.
Very helpful indeed. Well stocked pharmacy and seemingly an independent, which makes a refreshing change. I’d go there any time.
Selling hand sanitiser sprays for £10 a bottle, I just bought 30 online for my friends at a retail of £4.50 each. Should be ashamed of themselves...
Dreadfully slow service and usually only one person behind the counter. They have a sign at the moment saying that there will be 20 minute delays to pharmacy requests. The irony is that that's 10 minutes shorter than usual.
Staff are helpful however some need to work on their customer communication and attitudes
