Just had an unforgettable meal at this charming village pub! From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Every dish we tried was impeccable, flavours perfectly balanced, beautifully presented and clearly made with care. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy good food. Truly a five-star experience all around can’t wait to come back!

Just had a 3 course xmas meal with 9 people. They had another large table of 17 and another of 5 sitting at same time. But youd never know. The food was increDible. Every person commented how tasty it was. All hot, well seasoned, delicious and well presented. Service was outstanding especially considering how busy it was. I am definitely coming again and fully endorse anyone trying! Fantastic

Had a lovely meal at the shoulder of mutton. It is beautiful decorated and the service was so nice and friendly. Food was excellent, very well presented and had delicious flavours. The winter menu was really creative - we'll be back soon to try more off it! Would highly recommend

Haven’t been here for years but after seeing recent reviews we booked in for a Sunday roast with family who’d travelled down from the North East. We weren’t disappointed. The food was incredible, service was super-friendly & a couple of little issues were sorted out promptly & with a smile. Definitely our new favourite place for a roast & a bonus that we can bring the dog with us too!

Enjoyed a lovely Wednesday evening for their Pinot & Pasta night - a set menu where you can chose a pasta, mini pizza & salad - plus the wine of course!! Was delicious food, great atmosphere with kind staff. Food came quickly and our big table of 14 + 1yr old all enjoyed our food and left happy. Thank you The Shoulder of Mutton team ☺️

Love this pub! Perfect spot for a dog walk, followed by lunch or a quick drink. The food here is always outstanding. Personal favourites are the fish and chips on a Friday and the Sunday roast. A traditional pub with a friendly landlord. No screens, no loud music, just good food and even better ales - the best pint of Landlord you will have.

Pretty good. We really enjoyed our midweek lunch with good quality classic pub dishes. One gripe would be the OTT pricing of those little mixer bottles, but that's an industry wide problem.

Nice village pub, close to the church. Several draft ales plus common spirits. Reasonable pub grub available must days lunch time and early evening.

Went for a family gathering of 32 people. Absolutely fantastic. They couldn’t have been more helpful. The food was lovely and the drink selection was great. Plenty of parking and a really nice setting.
