We recently had our wedding at Social, and we honestly could not of wished for a better day! The staff were absolutely superb from the booking process, to the fine details, to the day itself. Everything was perfect and we couldn’t thank social more. Asides from the perfect wedding day, we attend social for gigs throughout the year and it’s a superb venue!
Went here to watch some bands play. It was a nice venue, as spacious as we needed it to be. Ground floor so easily accessible. Coat rack available for coats. Our hands got stamped upon entry and there wasn't really a queue for the bar that took more than a few minutes. Good location close to a variety of restaurants. The only issue I had personally was that because it's all ground floor and the front door is kept open it got a bit draughty if you were near there, but we did visit in November and it had been raining; I suspect not a problem in the warmer months, or it could be seen as a welcome coolness of you've been bouncing around to the music.
We had our wedding at Social yesterday and are really over the moon with everything. The staff were lovely, super helpful and went above and beyond to make our day something really special! I can’t recommend this place enough as a wedding venue. Thank you for everything guys!
2024 - Had a great time at Noasis last night. It was busy but not too crowded. It was a really nice atmosphere. Quick service at the bar all night. 2025 - Saw Kings of Lyon last week and Noasis again tonight. Great night, great atmosphere and the staff are amazing. From the security bloke to the lady who got seats for our autistic kids last week so they could safely enjoy the show and Alex tonight who is a legend. Thanks for having a great venue that takes care of the customers that lets people enjoy live music
Really enjoyed the Jam'd at Social down Humber Street. Great atmosphere, everyone was getting along with each other. The band were amazing too. We'll worth seeing!
Went to Social to see Skinny Living and after a quick email back and forth with the fantastic Dave he sorted us seats at a standing gig. Fantastic place. Modern with a really funky aesthetic.
It was my first visit to the Social in Hull and I loved it. I went with hubby and friends to see Alabama 3. It was really busy but the bar staff coped brilliantly and managed the queues really well and with smiles on their faces. I didn't expect much of the toilets but they were not bad at all. The band were excellent and the venue just the right size.
