We have just been to the Gnu for a meal to try their new Autumn menu and all I can say is WOW!! You would travel a long way to eat food as good as this, I am so impressed with the quality,service and price - excellent!!
What a lovely friendly place. It was my husbands birthday so there were 10 of us, 8 adults and 2 children. We did a pre order to help kitchen staff, all food arrived piping hot all at the same time. Lee and all the other staff were so nice and welcoming too. Can't praise this little place enough, highly recommend!
A real gem of a place. First time visitors. Lunch menu was good and very on the ball with their allergen information. I had scampi and chips, very plentiful and the scampi was beautiful. Husband had a flat bread with rump steak, beautifully presented and delicious. The onion rings were like cart wheels! Reasonable priced, cosy atmosphere and really friendly staff. Will definitely be back!

We stopped off for dinner, whilst staying local for a hen weekend, and so glad we did. There were 9 of us, we pre booked a week earlier. The staff were so good to us, the food was amazing (and piled high) and all at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend and would love to go again, if I am ever in that neck of the woods. Thank you for such a good experience x
Absolutely fantastic pub. Service was as excellent as the food. If I ever found myself visiting the area again, I would 100% book in here and recommend anyone else do so as well.
