Visited the store an hour before closing on New Year’s Eve to pick up a prescription for an elderly relative who was poorly at home. There was an issue with the prescription in that one item had been prescribed in tablet form but the store only had the capsules in and one item had been missed off by the doctor. Both items were needed urgently. Sam suggested I call the doctor and get a new prescription so they could help me which I did. This meant I was able to collect both items before the store closed. One of the items had been sent to the wrong pharmacy and Sam helped me call them so that I could rearrange for it to be collected there instead. I would never have thought to do either of these things without Sam’s help This was much appreciated and meant our relative could get the meds she needed without having to wait until after the New Year. Many thanks to Sam and the team there.

Amazing all around! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted, and I was in and out with what I needed in less than five minutes. The store itself has been there for a while, and it definitely shows its age. For such a small shop, it had everything I neededβ€”mainly skincare products and multivitamins.

Never again. This is the third time I’ve been in and queued for at least 10 minutes. Only to then be asked whether I’ve had the condition within the last 6 months, and as the answer was yes, told they can’t sell me the medication. Now that’s fine but last time I had to buy it in the same pharmacy, the woman who served me did not ask this question. So boots need to train all their staff to the same requirements. Waiting that amount of time during my lunch break to then be refused the product I needed was utterly infuriating. The lady who served me was perfectly pleasant and very apologetic but Boots are doing a rubbish job of training staff to the same levels and clearly the pharmacy is massively understaffed with just one lady trying to manage both tills. I felt for her, especially when she had to tell me no, I could tell she felt really bad.

Another example today of how poor this stores customer service levels are. Trying to blame me for them providing the wrong prescription, not bothering to check they had given me all the items on the order then trying to charge me Β£20 for one item. Make sure you check what they've providing you before you pay or at least before you leave the store! Beware they will lie to you to cover up their own incompetence.

Awful experience and I will not be returning again any time soon. I don't often write bad reviews either but on this occasion feel I need to, as I was absolutely disgruntled with the poor customer service and in particular how the staff member spoke to me. She was very rude and could definitely benefit from learning some interpersonal skills and attending training. To give some context, I had visited the store with my teething baby. On arrival it was clearly understaffed and after waiting a while at the counter to be served, I noticed a sign on the desk saying to pay for items at the pharmacy. As a result, due to no staff being present I took the item I needed, which was displayed on a shelf near the tills and joined the queue. There appeared to be a barrier, which possibly had been used to cordon this section off at one stage but this had now been moved to one side. Thus, I thought this was an attempt to provide access for customers to get what they need in the absence of there being no staff available to ask. However, clearly this was a misunderstanding, as when I reached my turn to pay at the till, I wasn't greeted with a "hello" or apology for the delay/wait I had endured but instead a lecture on how I shouldn't have picked up the item from the shelf and should have asked. Laughable really, as I was trying to alleviate the pressure and not be a hassle to the staff as could see they were busy! In future there needs to be a member of staff manning the counter at all times, so there is someone available to ask and clear notices and barriers used effectively to communicate this. Customers are not mind readers and it's unacceptable for them to be used like a punching bag and get the brunt of frustration because someone appears to be having a bad day at work. I will refrain from going here again as what was already a tough morning with a teething baby was made ten times worse.

Visited to collect a prescription - polite efficient and helpful staff. Service was personable and staff clearly knowledgeable.

Big improvement here. Now have someone specifically to do vaccinations. On time, efficient and helpful. Thank you

Not great service. Lost confidence in this branch. Often have to go back for meds

Just been in for my 8 year old daughters prescription and it's on par with willerby branch for inept staff and service. Only got half the prescription and need to return tomorrow for the other half. Sat waiting 10 mins before the young dispenser came and told me it would be another 15 min wait as there was someone in front of me which was quite puzzling as i was the only one waiting! Absolute joke of a pharmacy

This is an extremely busy store and the staff are run off their feet. Great service today when I called in with my son to get his prescription, very helpful lady that served us . The manager also came over and advised us. I give them 10/10.
